6th Purchase From Olathe Dodge Chrysler Jeep RAM I feel like the guy who listens to a radio show for a while and when he finally calls in starts with "long time listener, first time caller." This is I feel like the guy who listens to a radio show for a while and when he finally calls in starts with "long time listener, first time caller." This is my first review after 5 prior purchases, #6 being just as good as the rest. I always felt like the squeaky wheel gets the grease, meaning those who did these things (reviews) were only looking to complain in exchange for something. I was surprised to see that is not the case, most of these reviews are pretty good. So, I felt compelled to do the same.... I have purchased 6 times (maybe more I just can't recall) from this dealership over the years. Greg and Ranger (Mike) are my go-to guys as they dont waste my time with things they know I dont want or need to hear about. Selling a car is really about understanding your customer, balancing that with the pressures that I am sure come from the manufacturers and mgmt to up-sell the moon are likely what push customers to bounce around between dealers. That is not the case here, not that Ranger and Greg don't push the upsells, they push them when its right, makes sense, etc. If I see or feel value in it, why wouldn't I buy? Sure the various models have everything from bare bones to $20,000 or more in bells and whistles, but if you don't understand who is buying, or who they are buying for, then good luck selling to me next time (I am not sure how much they teach the younger bucks to do just this anymore). I just have to pick up the phone and call Ranger, he asks the right probing questions to make sure he picks out the right ones to look at, then when I arrive he shows me a few. I pick one and we make it happen. When I purchased my Jeep Wrangler Rubicon last year from Ranger, he found the exact one I wanted and had it transferred from a dealer in Arkansas within a day vs. pushing me to buy one on the lot as he knows if I "settled", theres a possibility I would regret the purchase, and overtime that sinks in to the next buying decision. Greg did that same thing for me a few years back when I purchased a Jeep Cherokee SRT8. There is nothing like having a sales person who knows their customer, that and the on-going maintenance experience are what sets dealers apart. Finally, when I am there, they don't waste my time, the finance guy gets me in and out and I'm not sitting around there for hours like I have nothing else to do. Seems to be the case with most others from what I can tell, these guys do a good job of respecting your time. Clearly, the owners of this dealership know how to run a solid operation, and keeping the sort of continuity in the staff will continue to reward those owners for years, I still see the same faces every time I pop in. Ranger keeps in touch with me every now and then, checking in to see how things are going. Not too much, just enough. The manufacturers should take a look at the dealers who bring in repeat buyers, guys like me who dont typically write reviews, but routinely buy. In my life, in my career and in my experiences, there is nothing in this world that can replace the value of loyalty and relationships. I feel like these guys are the face of Jeep and Dodge, and they take great pride in their profession. Not sure I will take the bait on another review as I did for this one, but know that so long as you continue to do what you are doing, keep great guys like Ranger and Greg around, I will keep on buying. And, if anyone actually ever reads this, give Ranger (Mike) Sienicki a call and let him do his thing, he wont sell you what you dont need, sit back and enjoy the ride (no pun intended). More
