On top of that great experience after agreeing to purchase the vehicle, I dealt with their finance manager Nathan Lauck; an extremely pleasant man to deal with and on top of that he went out of his way to contact the financing company and attain discounts I didnt even know existed, getting me the lowest payments and best price possible. Overall I just have to say it was about the best car buying experience you could hope to have and I would recommend ANYONE looking at buying a new or used vehicle to check out this dealership before going anywhere else. We were looking at a 2017 Dodge Ram 1500 Sport when we were approached by Donnie Latimer. He asked if we were interested in seeing what they could do to get me in that truck. I said it depends on what kind of deal you can make me. Here it comes - Donnie said "This isn't a museum, everything has to go". That was the best sales line I have ever heard. We decided to let Donnie see what they could do and we eventually came to an agreement on the new truck. Donnie was great to work with, he had an awesome personality and didn't try to push anything on us. Going back and forth with him actually made the purchase fun. Submitted online credit application- very smooth. Everything about the car was perfect- color, lease vehicle that was well cared for and in showroom condition - a brand new car. An Unexpected Purchase My wife and I were looking at replacing her car as it was needing regular repairs to keep it running. The problem with buying my wife a car is that she is a car buff and not just any car will do. She wants power and she wants something that looks good as she passes you on the highway. Before Christmas we test drove a Camaro, but with two children we decided that we needed to go with something that had more space in the back seat and preferably four doors. The other car that my wife had been eyeing for a while was a Dodge Charger. Of course, the six cylinder wouldn't cut it. We started looking at the R/T. One afternoon we took a drive to a nearby dealership and took a Charger Daytona (the only Charger of any type they had on the lot) for a test drive. The car was out of our price range and not my wife's preferred color, black, so the team there attempted to put together a special order option for us (kudos to them). Unfortunately, the price was still too high and required more money down than we had at the moment. We left with the thought that we would wait for our tax return to come in and try again. As expected, the test drive only fanned the flames hotter. I started researching black Dodge Charger R/Ts in the area and found one at Olathe DCJ. We made a phone call to make sure that it was still in stock and headed over to check it out the Saturday before my wife's birthday. We met Ron Zahorik and put the pressure on him up front to earn our business. He was cordial and honest and never pressured us into anything. Our intention was only to see the car in black to see if we really liked it and with the experience from the other dealership a few days earlier, we were sure they couldn't do much better price-wise and would have to still wait the few months for the money to come in from the government. Boy were we wrong. Not only did they knock off over $60 from the monthly cost quoted by the other dealership, they were also able to do it with absolutely nothing down! Ron worked hard to get us that number, even getting us a better trade-in value on our old car. We've now had the car for two months. In fact, we just picked up the tags today. Our experience with Olathe DCJ, and especially with Ron Zahorik, has been amazing! It has been so good that we are already considering ditching VW when my lease is up on my current car and going to see Ron about getting a second Charger in the family...though a Challenger Hellcat would sure sound nice too (to everyone but the neighbors that is)! There's a stack of Ron's cards at our house to hand out to friends because we believe in him as a salesman and in Olathe DCJ as a dealership! More
