This is a Wife brought her car in for a recall on he air bag in Jan 2021. Immediately the horn want working and the air bag light was coming on. This is around the time I was diagnosed with cancer so I was keeping her busy taking me to doctors appointments, treatments, and visiting need in the hospital so she didn't bring it back. Brought it back today and they called and asked who had worked on it (only them). Then a few hours later they quote $1000 to repair it. I called Steve, service manager, giving them a chance but he said “there is nothing he can do”. Not the way to treat people…. Even if they weren’t diagnosed with cancer. More
My experience was terrible! Wasted 2 hours there on Tuesday, Monty didn't even say sorry for your company ordering the wrong sized tire for the vehicle. I specifically went to the Toyota dealership for Tuesday, Monty didn't even say sorry for your company ordering the wrong sized tire for the vehicle. I specifically went to the Toyota dealership for a smooth experience. He told me a new tire would be ready around 5pm so I rearranged my entire day to be available only for him to then call me at 6pm and said you guys might be able to get us back in in the next few days. I called back minutes later and said that wasn't acceptable and I needed the tire and he didn't even call me back!! I had to call Toyota the next morning to arrange service. I went in the next day and waited another 2 hours in the waiting area so literally 4 hours waiting for the tire to have paint splashes on it in multiple colors and doesn't even look new. Absolutely the worst experience I've ever had at any Toyota dealership. I am happy to send photos of the tire. I never received any inspection report on the vehicle either. I always do at other dealerships. More
Adam in this particular instance and overall every time I've taken my Highlander in for service is heads and shoulders above every other car dealership I've done business with. My problem was actually all I've taken my Highlander in for service is heads and shoulders above every other car dealership I've done business with. My problem was actually all on my shoulders (unrealized at the time) and regardless these guys did at least 3 backflips to take care of it and me. They didn't have to take care of it, didn't make me feel stupid over it and were nothing but graceful handling it. This is my second Toyota bought here and will not be my last. Thanks a million you guys- More

Beware of Lifetime Warranty - Deceptive Concerns I have with the deceptive Lifetime Warranty: - Even if all factory scheduled maintenance is done at Olathe Toyota if you are off a little Concerns I have with the deceptive Lifetime Warranty: - Even if all factory scheduled maintenance is done at Olathe Toyota if you are off a little on the mileage between oil changes, the 3rd party will deny your claim. - The Olathe Toyota Service Department is not aware of which vehicles are covered by the Lifetime Warranty. You have to tell them on each visit. - The Olathe Toyota Service Department is not trained on which repairs are covered by the Lifetime Warranty. You have to ask them on each repair before authorizing a repair. I have purchased three new cars from Olathe Toyota including doing all my maintenance there and overall have been satisfied. One of the reasons I buy from this dealership and do all my service there is the included Lifetime Warranty. Its included in all their marketing as well. For the majority of the time I have had really good experiences with the service department. I have found a big issue with the service department not being aware of which customers have the lifetime warranty issued by their own dealership and not sure which repairs would be covered. Recently, I had a 2013 Toyota Sienna with 113,000 miles on it the front left and right axles needed replacement. The service department gave me a quote and I asked if it would be covered by the lifetime warranty, they told me no so I told them to start on the work. I then went and read what was covered in the factory warranty and found it should be covered. I called them back and told them it should be covered and they verified it was a covered item. They submitted all of my service records for work done in their service department. After the repair was complete, I was informed the 3rd party issuer of their Lifetime Warranty was denying the claim because on one occurrence a n oil change was done a little early and the following was done a little late. The service department said they fought my case with the 3rd party and then they said they wanted to inspect the vehicle before authorizing the repair. The service department informed them the repair had already been completed and the claim was denied. More

Emergency Tire Repair I want to thank Olathe Toyota, but more importantly Micah my service associate, and the service personnel he represents. My wife got a flat tire on I want to thank Olathe Toyota, but more importantly Micah my service associate, and the service personnel he represents. My wife got a flat tire on her 2016 4-Runner. Of course, it happened at 5:00 pm. I changed/removed the tire, raced the tire and auto to Olathe Toyota in hopes of getting the tire repaired before the end of the next day. Micah took the tire and the vehicle back to service, repaired the tire, switched the spare back to the original, put the jack and all tools back in their compartment, stored the spare, vacuumed the rear area, and washed the vehicle. All of this before they closed at 7:00 pm and while I waited. Is that awesome, or what???!!! Thank you Micah, the service people behind the curtain, and Olathe Toyota. Very Much Appreciate. "Lifetime Warranty" DON'T EXPECT COVERAGE I purchased a 2008 Certified Toyota Highlander from Olathe Toyota and what factored into my decision was the "Lifetime (powertrain) Warranty" advertis I purchased a 2008 Certified Toyota Highlander from Olathe Toyota and what factored into my decision was the "Lifetime (powertrain) Warranty" advertised on the website and sold with the car. I have always been a Toyota buyer and always will be, but DO NOT EXPECT THE THIRD PARTY PROVIDER TO HONOR A WARRANTY CLAIM. My Highlander's driveshaft failed (Toyota has a published technical bulletin acknowledging the failure). The cost to replace was $1000. When I submitted a claim to the provider, they immediately mentioned that I had not kept track of my wiper blade replacement or tire rotation manufacturer service requirements, and so I was not complaint with the terms of the warranty. The Olathe GM although sympathetic, could only point me back to Toyota, to ask for assistance. To this day, they have not called me back. DO NOT EXPECT ANY ASSISTANCE FROM THE "LIFETIME WARRANTY" More
Do they sell you things you really don't need? Came in for oil change and tire rotation. Charged me $115. That is outrages!! They also told me my battery tested very low. Gave me a price, once agai Came in for oil change and tire rotation. Charged me $115. That is outrages!! They also told me my battery tested very low. Gave me a price, once again, outrages price. I took my car to another place to have my battery tested. They told me my battery was fine. So do you normal sell items to people even when they don't need them or was it because I was female and you don't think I know anything about my car? regardless, I won't be back... More

First two visits went off without a hitch had no com I didn’t buy my Tundra from Olathe but have used them for getting rid of my chrome on my vehicle. First two visits went off without a hitch had no complaints on work performed and quoted price. After that things went downhill. Tried to get a driver side grab handle installed two mud flaps removed along with debadging the truck and installing a black exhaust tip. They said they couldn’t install the grab handle since not sure it was the right part..removed the whole plastic wheel well liners and damaged the truck removing the badges. The exhaust tip went on without a hitch. I guess I must have complained too much since I had to return to get the wheel liners reinstalled and to get the body fixed and to try to get the grab handle installled since I verified the part and had written instructions from a Toyota dealer. They still refused to do the grab handle and completed the rest of the work although the badge removal forever damaged the clear coat. You don’t use a plastic pry tool to get these off you use heat and monofilament fishing line! So much for the highest level technician certification. Oh wait after all that was headed back for another part install and I have been forever black listed! Guess they couldn’t please me and had to eat too much on the last job! Like that was my fault. I never refused a quoted price for work. I have a lot of respect for the position Victoria Starks is in being the front person for an aweful service Dept and it’s leadership. She should get a raise and the Service Mgr should be fired. I’m back at Ray Adams and couldn’t be happier! More
