Reached out on website regarding C8 corvette. Asked two very specific questions in my inquiry. -Got auto response from internet manager -Replied to auto response reiterating my contact and Asked two very specific questions in my inquiry. -Got auto response from internet manager -Replied to auto response reiterating my contact and specific questions asking for human contact -Human replies “I am a human - call me.” No name, no job title, no answer to my questions. -I call 2 days later, rings and rings - no VM -I decide to call main sales line -I get connected to lady in BDC who asks my interest and tells me they don’t sell out of state usually - IF they want to sell this car (which they just reduced the price by $10k) out of state, they will reach out to me. WILL NOT give me the name of a sales manager (in fact, she claimed to be one) so I said "ok, send me a buyers order so I can send a wire" -The WHOLE time - I never talked to identifiable employee of Old Orchard. They actually go to great lengths to gate keep leads. It’s quite a racket. -You're either into BHPH tricks OR you can sell 100k cars -but not both. Enjoy your C8, Old Orchard. I’ll shop local with a store that actually responds to customer leads. More
