Kevin, At the time of cancelation, we ask finance to set the time expectation for product cancellation. We try to give the customer as much information as we can about the process to ease their anxiety about the length of time it takes to do so. The cancelation paperwork is sent to the originating dealer first to verify the lien holder's info. A check is then sent to the lien holder by the dealer. Your Easy Care was already cashed by Global on July 7th and they had not applied to your loan yet, but they have received it. That was a delay with your bank in processing. Brenda from our business office followed up in an email to update you at 9:30 am on August 2nd that she called your bank for you, and they promised to apply the check by the end of the week. The warranty check has not been received yet from the insurance company but should be soon. It will be overnighted to your bank also and she will provide you with a tracking number so you can follow up with your bank. I am sorry you feel you had a bad experience with your transactions and your bank has been slow to apply your credits. I would love to hear from you to find out more about your experience and who helped you with the cancelation paperwork to use this as a learning experience so we set the proper expectations for time and process so this does not happen again.
