I can honestly say that his was by far the best car purchase experience I have ever had. I had been promised a price from another dealer over the phone only to find out it was completely different when purchase experience I have ever had. I had been promised a price from another dealer over the phone only to find out it was completely different when I got there. So I when I contacted open road I was apprehensive. Instead I spoke to Cally who assured me they wouldn't do that to me. When I arrived, she introduced me to Michael Mayfield and he was a true professional. I got my MDX at a great price and was treated with respect. I would definitely recommend this dealer and will refer my family and friends. More

I live in Wayne and I was at their other dealership here I was in the market for a certified car. While i was at the dealership in wayne I looked at a few cars I really didn't like the condition of their cars. So I called open road Acura of east Brunswick spoke to Tarak in sales department which was very nice and asked him to walk out to the car I liked there and describe the overall condition of the car. He tells me the cars was like new and in excellent condition, he also mentioned that he wouldn't tell me that just to get me in, I was a little skeptical. I took his word for it and drove down there. I have to say he did NOT lie. The car was Great shape just like he said. Everything he explained was accurate. We then worked out a great deal on the car and I drove it home the same night. Everyone at the dealership was very nice and it was just a overall excellent experience. Usually car buying is a nightmare but he made it so easy. I would recommend this dealership to everyone. My mother is now actually in the market as well now, Guess where we are going? The managers were very nice as well. If i can rate this dealership from 1 to 10 I would say it's a 20. More
This dealership was friendly but they tried to get me to leave a deposit before we agreed on a price. Do your homework before entering any dealership...I highly recommend anyone in the market for a new car read http://carbuyingtips.com. This website has all kinds of tools including a spreadsheet that helps you calculate a fair offer that you can email out to dealers before entering the dealership. Because of this website we were able to get the car we wanted for about $1,000 over invoice at Open Road Acura of Wayne...they even threw in the $810 destination fee. More

I visited this dealership about a year ago to lease a new MDX and trade-in my current car. I was absolutely shocked at the experience. First of all, they offered me a price which was about 50% of my car's MDX and trade-in my current car. I was absolutely shocked at the experience. First of all, they offered me a price which was about 50% of my car's KBB trade-in value. I told them it was a joke and, after 1 hour of waiting, they gave me another $400! Their excuse was: "You have to understand that people do not come to Acura to buy a used Chrysler." Amazing. I told them that I did not care and that I wanted a market value trade-in price. They then refused to show me the details on the lease they were offering -- i.e., price, residual, money factor, etc. After 3 completely wasted hours, I got up and walked out. The amazing this is, they did not seem to care and no one even tried to stop me. Well, a few days ago, I went to the Precision Acura of Princeton. The experience was like night and day. They were excellent, fair, pleasant and easy to deal with. I leased a 2010 RDX and was thrilled with the experience. I am still amazed that Open Road Acura somehow remains in business. I will never return to them. Precision Acura of Princeton it is for me in the future! More
The saleswoman was wonderful. However the manager was a creep. Along with the finance manager which was a total creep. The manager was set on his price for a used tl which was a decent price compared to o creep. Along with the finance manager which was a total creep. The manager was set on his price for a used tl which was a decent price compared to other dealer. They gave a very low price for my trade which was my fault because I should have sold it outright. The worst part was the manager actually told me that when I leave they are changing the price of the car and making it 1000 more. So after many headaches and searching for months for a car I bought it. He was very rude. The finance manager was a different story. He was just absolutly misereable and annoyed with all of my questions. He was so annoyed that he continued to mess the paperwork up. I was there for five hours total. It equaled about six cups of coffee. All because mr finance wasn't doing his job. Bottom line the sales team should run the place. They are friendly. The rest of them stink!!!! More
We were planning to purchase an Acura. This would be our second car, so we were open to either the TSX, TL or MDX. We had gotten a quote from them over the internet for a TSX. However when we got there, th second car, so we were open to either the TSX, TL or MDX. We had gotten a quote from them over the internet for a TSX. However when we got there, the general or sales manager was stern and accusatory. The initial sales team were pleasant. The negiotiations took a downturn, when the sales managers' exact comments were "if you did your homework, ...." This is truly an unprofessional comment. It was amazing the dealership would end the deal and lose a purchse of $28k over a mere $2 to $3k. The quote was not from us, it was from their dealership. They should learn never to undermind their customers, their own quotes, especially in economic downturns times. Acura's are good cars, but at the end we purchased a 2010 Lexus RX 350. Lexus dealer knew how to treat their negotiations with fairness. Therefore the bottom line is, don't insult or treat potential customers like we're not prepared. Open Road Acura's lost, not ours. First of all I stood in the showroom for about 15 minutes before someone came to ask If I was being helped( first mistake). I wanted a quote on my Acura TL 2006, I still have over a year left on my lease.... before someone came to ask If I was being helped( first mistake). I wanted a quote on my Acura TL 2006, I still have over a year left on my lease....I wanted to inquiry If they buy the remaining lease, I wanted to purchase a used one. First, I got the run around, then the general manager came out and told me he could get me a new 2009 but my payments would be higher than I'm paying now. Basically, the bottom line they didn't want to buy back the car. It seems this car dealer doesn't understand the concept of working with people. I would never go to this dealer or advise anyone I know to use it.....I took my business elsewhere. More
