If I could give them 0 stars I would. Walked in with my wife and walked directly toward the MDX (as this is the vehicle we were interested in) and spent over 10 minutes looking in and aro Walked in with my wife and walked directly toward the MDX (as this is the vehicle we were interested in) and spent over 10 minutes looking in and around it. There were plenty of employees just sitting at their desks, a couple of them even walked past us but not a single one approached us for assistance. We went on 12/28, so being the end of the month and end of the year you can imagine our surprise when no one jumped at the opportunity for a sale. It was at 1 pm and I, a 6’4” guy with a bright red hoodie, was noticeable. My wife had a sweatsuit on, so maybe it was due to our appearance? I would hate to think this was their reason for not approaching us. We ended up leaving with second thoughts about getting an Acura all together. More
Deceitful Practices: Cheap Auto Insurance Scheme. I had a 2021 TLX Advance and was nearing the end of my lease (4/24). I was considering a new lease and began looking around on the internet. I was shown a beautiful 2023 TLX Advance and agreed to come in and give it a look. Jesse sent me the VIN Number and I began looking for insurance. The quote was too high and I began to have reservations about going forward. I texted Jesse the night before my appointment letting her know that I had change my mind about the car. I also explained that I was a disabled veteran and did not want to get in too deep financially. That was on 1/27/24. The next morning (1/28) I accepted a call from Jesse who expressed disappointment but wanted to see if she could somehow help me regarding the insurance part. She offered to talk to her "manager" who often works with insurance people who might be able to help. I responded that if they could get me a lower insurance quote that I'd be all in. She requested my social security and dated of birth, needed to get me a quote. After an hour or son, Jesse called me with "great news." She claimed that her manager had reached out to his person who was offering me an insurance policy for $240.00 per month, but I had to put $890.00 down to start the policy. I was thrilled and excited. I drove from New York and arrived at Open Road Acura at 1:30 PM. I met with Jesse, a seemingly genuine person who I liked from the start. I eventually met with her "manager" Felipe (I think). He and I would go over all the financial stuff. It all went pretty quickly: I turned over my 2021 TLX Advance with less that 18K miles on a three year lease, was shown the New 2023 TLX Advance, then was asked to get the insurance part finalized. Jesse provided with a number to call, while at the same time emphasizing that the insurance guy was waiting to hear from me. I immediately dialed (518) 772-4470 and began speaking with someone who Identified himself as "Angel" and claimed to represent "Cheap Auto Insurance." He claimed to be setting up the policy and requested my bank account information as the policy had to include auto pay. Like a fool, I gave it to him. And if that wasn't foolish enough, he requested that I forward the $890.00 initial down payment via Zelle to another number: Julio @ 646.284.2147. Thereafter he would only communicate by text and recorded voice texts using WhatsApp. I was at the dealership and was following the instructions from someone who Jesse and her manager had connected me with, so I did not immediately suspect anything. In actuality, I was being set up. These people wanted so badly to make the sale that they baited me with the false assurance that I was getting an insurance rate that would motivate me to come in and sign for the 2023 TLX Advance. Here's what happened: The insurance person took my $890.00 and pocketed it. He and his associates then created an online policy with Geico using $755.12 from my bank account. They then began making changes within the online policy that would cause my bank account to show a negative balance of over 500.00. How do I know this? I called Geico who helped me to trace numerous recent changes within my policy initiated by Angel and "Cheap Auto Insurance" without my knowledge or permission. With the help of Geico I discovered that the initial policy was only for "liability." It then became very clear that Angel was manipulating both my bank account and the bogus insurance policy that was intended to help Open Road Acura to put me in the drivers seat. I have failed to reach the senior person at the dealership. Suddenly no one is in and the manager called Felipe is denying he had anything to do with the insurance quote. I simply want my $890.00. This is fraud and a legal matter. I intend to get my money back. DON"T EVER TRUST THESE PEOPLE. They will stoop very low for a sale. More

October 2023, we purchased an Acura Integra for our son. We actually went to another Acura dealer close to Open Road Acura and spent over 45 minutes inside, nobody addressed us until we decided to leave and We actually went to another Acura dealer close to Open Road Acura and spent over 45 minutes inside, nobody addressed us until we decided to leave and drove couple minutes to the next Acura dealer which is “Open Road Acura”. As soon as we opened the door, Jess was already waiting for us as she saw us coming. She received us with such an elegance, her customer service was on point, kind and respectful. The process was so easy from Jess to the finance professional. We purchased the car that same night. The price was great and customer service was 1000%, she walked me through every single options that the car had. It was a wonderful experience.
