★☆☆☆☆ One Star – Deceptive diagnosis, no accountability, terrible customer service I brought my vehicle to Open Road Audi for a coolant leak and after being charged 359.00 for diagnostic ( turned out to terrible customer service I brought my vehicle to Open Road Audi for a coolant leak and after being charged 359.00 for diagnostic ( turned out to be a visual diagnostic ) I was quoted roughly $7,200 for a water pump and thermostat (plus related items). I then took the car to an independent professional mechanic who correctly diagnosed and fixed the actual problem, performed a pressure test, and documented “no more leak” after the repair—total cost $450. The independent shop also checked for other leaks (none), topped off fluids, and confirmed brakes/suspension/hoses/belt were fine. They noted my sunroof needs dealer adjustment, which Open Road has not addressed. After this, I repeatedly asked Open Road management/ownership for objective diagnostic proof supporting their $7,200 recommendation (tests, data, clear verification). Instead, I received defensive emails and a technician video pointing to “coolant residue,” even though I had been topping off coolant during the leak (which can leave residue). Management also stated they do not pressure test if they “already identified” the leak—yet they provided no real test evidence. I even requested to bring the vehicle back so they could put it on a lift and show the leak in real time, because the water pump/thermostat/breather were never replaced—so if their diagnosis were correct, the car should still be leaking and at risk of damage. It isn’t. In fact, after the independent repair, I drove over 200 miles round trip from Brooklyn to Pennsylvania with no leaks and no issues. Despite all of this, they continue to deny responsibility, offer no corrective action, no compensation for the full day I lost, and they still haven’t fixed the sunroof issue. Overall: dishonest, misleading, and unacceptable customer service. They take no responsibility. for incompetent dishonest, and shady service .They have no integrity More
It was a lifelong goal of mine to purchase an Audi from Audi of Manhattan, but this experience has completely changed my perception of the brand and dealership. My business partner and I visited Audi of Audi of Manhattan, but this experience has completely changed my perception of the brand and dealership. My business partner and I visited Audi of Manhattan with the intent to purchase a 2025 Audi SQ5. We were financially qualified, completed a credit check, obtained pre-approval, and were prepared to either pay in full or lease. Despite this, we encountered repeated refusals to provide standard financial information and a pattern of behavior that fell far below reasonable consumer expectations. Throughout the process, the dealership declined to disclose basic financing terms, including monthly payment estimates, unless we first wired a significant payment. We were asked to complete a credit check simply to test-drive the vehicle, yet the dealership later refused to complete the sale altogether. During what was supposed to be our signing appointment, we were left unattended for more than two hours while the representative assisted another client, with no updates or explanation provided. After continued attempts to obtain clarity on financing details, the dealership abruptly refunded our deposit and informed us they would not proceed with the sale. No specific or documented reason was provided for this reversal, despite prior assurances that the transaction would move forward. This occurred even after we confirmed our ability and willingness to finalize the purchase under any standard terms. This experience reflects a lack of transparency, poor communication, and unprofessional conduct. As a consumer making a significant purchase, I expected clear information, consistent service, and respectful treatment — none of which were provided. I am sharing this experience to caution other buyers and to urge Audi corporate to review the practices at this location to ensure they align with the brand’s stated standards and consumer expectations. I took my car to a closer dealership and had to pay for removal. Open Road Audi of Manhattan is refusing to reimburse me because they’re upset about my survey response. Here’s an idea— actually do right by your customers and reach out to them instead of expecting 5 star responses for 2 star service. More
Great Dealership and probably my best experience from start to finish. The dealership itself is beautiful and everyone was extremely polite and helpful. Levani was incredible from the beginning, and start to finish. The dealership itself is beautiful and everyone was extremely polite and helpful. Levani was incredible from the beginning, and he made me feel like family, He made himself available for all my annoying questions and always answered them in the politest fashion. Without him, I probably would not have purchased an Audi. Thierno was extremely thorough and setup everything for me. A person can get used to that attention! More
Hello! Do not waste your time at this dealership! If I could give it a zero, I would!! Having purchased over 30 cars in the past 10 years, I must say Do not waste your time at this dealership! If I could give it a zero, I would!! Having purchased over 30 cars in the past 10 years, I must say this was by far the worst experience. I took the train to grand central and walked to pick up my 2024 Audi etron RS gt. The salesman told me it was prepped the day before and would be ready at noon. I arrived at 11:45 and nobody even stood up to greet me or ask if I needed help. (The dealership was empty and did not have customers!). Finally the salesman arrived around 12:05 to tell me the car was damaged!! Interesting, because he told me the night before it was prepped and ready to go! I asked to see the car and it was in the service department, damaged! Why wouldn’t the GM or finance manager call me before I made the trip in? Even if they called me 10 minutes before I arrived, I would have felt better. However, they just don’t care here! This was a 153k car!!! It was not prepped at all. I passed on the car but asked if they had any other options for me as this was a fourth car for me and really just a toy. The sales manager at the desk wouldn’t give me the time of day and totally brushed me off. After leaving I walked back to the train and headed home. I found out later he just got promoted! Clearly they made the wrong choice! This was something I was getting for my birthday! I ended up finding another dealer and taking delivery that night. The experience was amazing!!! I also found out one of my friends who is also a client, buys from this dealer and others in the group. He could not believe the story! (He will no longer be going back!) I believe the managers name was Levani! Really high power job sitting at the elevated desk! Not sure what he was doing though! I do know the day cost me time and money and was really disappointed! Thank you for your time. I hope this saves someone from having an awful experience like I did. Michael More
This dealership does a disservice to the Audi brand. I have had a very bad experience both with sales and with service. This was my last Audi after having owned 3. Don’t buy your car here. They will lie I have had a very bad experience both with sales and with service. This was my last Audi after having owned 3. Don’t buy your car here. They will lie to your face and then not deliver on their promises. If you still want to do business here avoid a sales guy by the name of Scott Seger. He will promise you stuff and then be rude when you demand those promises to be fulfilled. Even if you can demonstrate you have them in writing. Further l, The service is horrendous. You go for a check-up and walk away with thousands of dollars of problems you didn’t know you had. Buy another brand, but if you still want an Audi, don’t buy it here. More
Worst customer service ever! !!!! DO NOT BUY HERE!!!!! I’m an Audi owner and saw a vehicle online that I wanted to trade mine in for. Sales Consultant Chris whose phone number is !!!! DO NOT BUY HERE!!!!! I’m an Audi owner and saw a vehicle online that I wanted to trade mine in for. Sales Consultant Chris whose phone number is 609-575-0582 told me the car was available I told him I want the vehicle and will be by after work to pick up he even told me to have insurance ready and everything I have the text message to prove it. He said, “Just shoot me a text when you’re on your way and I’ll get the car ready in the mean time”. So here I am happy to get into a new vehicle with insurance and everything ready to go. I pick up my wife my newborn son and head over to the dealership. I arrive he shows me the vehicle it’s looking good then tells me to wait for him. Even told me that the paperwork was already being worked on. Next thing you know 5 min later he tells me it was sold. I’m like are you kidding me!!! I drove all the way over here from Jersey with my newborn son and wife for you to tell me it sold. Truly the worst service ever!!!! Do not go to this dealership!!!!!!!!! See below pic so you can see his text message. I’m speechless. And of course there wasn’t nothing else done. I had to leave back home with nothing. Poor customer service. More
