The salesperson took extended time to help us find just the right car with the options we were looking for. He went out of his way to get us the greatest possible deal we were looking for. The first day we dealt with Jamal and he was friendly. He helped us pick out the car that we wanted and also showed us different types of options we can go with when you lease a car. Showed us different monthly prices when you add different amount of down payment. He had good knowledge about the car he was selling. He explained everything to us about leasing a BMW. The second time we dealt with John Byrnes and he said our car will be here in a few days because they didn't have the car we wanted in the showroom. Showed us another one we could go with but we were stuck on our choice. We think it is pretty quick that they will have the car in 4 days and our overall experience with them was great. More

If you leave your car here to get serviced and you take out a loaner I can almost guarantee you that the service advisor will call you back later saying they discovered something through their "complimenta out a loaner I can almost guarantee you that the service advisor will call you back later saying they discovered something through their "complimentary thorough check of the whole vehicle" and suggest additional (often costly) repairs. I've been coming here for 4 years now and this always happens. This is how their service advisors make their money. On charging you for additional unnecessary repairs. In this latest incident, when I declined the extra service you could clearly tell the advisor was upset (obviously from the missed sale). These people are experts at finding ways to charge you for all kinds of bullsh*t, so just be wary of that. I moved an hour away 2 years ago but still went to them cause that's where I bought my car and I've been going to them for 4 years now. A recent incident in which I was clearly ripped off is finally the last straw ($135 for turning the key in my trunk so it's out of valet mode? REALLY?!!). I will not be going back to get my car serviced here. If I was going to get ripped off anyway, I'd much rather go to a dealership much closer to my new home instead. If you go here, be extremely skeptical of any extra repairs suggested to you. I overheard the service advisors on the phone with customers and every call sounds like the same bullsh*t spiel trying to sell people on repairs they had no clue about going in. More
When I came in to the dealership, the receptionist did not even bother asking me if I needed help. I had to ask her to get someone for me and she didn't look very enthusiastic about her job. She got me not even bother asking me if I needed help. I had to ask her to get someone for me and she didn't look very enthusiastic about her job. She got me sales and he was helpful and let me test drive the 128i. As soon as he thought though that he wasn't going to make a quick sale, he handed me a brochure and told me to look at it and when I'm ready, to give him a call. WOW, that was cold!! After a few weeks after I came back from vacation, I decided that I wanted to get a 328i convertible instead of a 128i. I e-mailed him to get pricing and was not happy with the number he gave me. I gave him a chance since he's the first one I spoke to re: purchasing a car. I felt that he was not that interested in selling me one so I went out and found a dealership that actually wants my business. More
We had issues with this place from the start. First my fiance called about a car he saw online. We live in Boston, so he had a lot of questions he wanted to ask before we drove all the way to NJ. The fi fiance called about a car he saw online. We live in Boston, so he had a lot of questions he wanted to ask before we drove all the way to NJ. The first guy he spoke to (I forget his name), never asked him his name or took his number or anything (obviously he doesn't know anything about sales). My fiance called back later in the day w/some more questions. He spoke to the same guy. The guy said the car was no longer available. The next day my fiance called back & spoke to Ahmed Farrag. Ahmed took his name and number, & told him that the car WAS available. The first guy LIED. HE GAVE UP A SALE BC HE DIDN'T WANT TO ANSWER ANY QUESTIONS. So, as this was basically my fiance's dream car, it was the easiest "sell" any salesman could ever have. My fiance wanted to buy the car & gave his cc number for the deposit. Ahmed told us that bc we live in MA, & MA doesn't have temporary license plates, that we'd have to drive down to NJ with the DMV form for them, & to sign the paperwork, & then get the plates and drive down a second time to pick up the car. Now, 1st of all, the DMV form is available to everyone, online, for free. No reason for us to drive down there for that. We asked if they could send the paperwork and we could sign it at a notory's office or even another authorized BMW dealership & they refused--they insisted we had to come down. So we CHANGED OUR PLANS & made the 5 hour trip (each way) from Boston to sign the paperwork. We were told it would take 20 minutes & we'd be in & out of there. We called ahead to say when we were coming. We got there & all of the salespeople disappeared like roaches. Every person turned & started walking the opposite direction as we approached them. My fiance walked through the dealership & used the bathroom, and we still didn't have a single person say a word to us. After 15-20 minutes we tracked down Ahmed. He had no idea who we were. So we had to wait some more while he got the paperwork. While there we had to sign a POWER OF ATTORNEY form! They wouldn't let us use a NOTORY, and they use the same system with their own paperwork. RIDICULOUS! They kept us there for 2 HOURS! TWO HOURS to sign a few forms. While we were there, at one point Ahmed ignored us, left us sitting in his office to go deliver a car to another customer! There were other sales people not doing anything at all. We were both so angry that he wasted our time. The next week we had some questions for them about the car. My fiance called their sales manager, Alison. She never returned his calls. About 2 weeks later it was time to drive back to pick up the car. They aren't open on Sundays, and we work regular jobs, so we couldn't pick it up before then. Unfortunately the first day we could go was the Friday before the 4th of July, when traffic is a nightmare. We drove down from Boston. We called the day before to let Ahmed know we were coming. We called again when we were about 30 miles away so that he could get the car ready. We arrived at the dealership, and again, everyone scattered from us like bugs. We, again, had to track down Ahmed. He was like, "Why don't you sit down?" ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?! We had been sitting in the car for 5 hours driving down there in crappy holiday traffic and had another 5+ hours of sitting in the car on the drive home once we left. We just wanted the car and to leave. He said, "just a minute" and disappeared. He went off TO DO A TEST DRIVE WITH SOME OTHER CUSTOMERS! We stood around WITH LICENSE PLATES IN HAND for over a half hour before anyone said anything to us. At that point we were SO ANGRY we saw Ahmed and demanded that he help us and get our car. The sales manager on duty, sent Ahmed away, and called us into his office. He said that right then was the first he had heard anything about calling to have the car sent over. He apologized repeatedly, and tried to offer us something (we were VERY MAD). BMW offers an extended maintenance package. When we bought the car, we turned it down. Between the time we signed the paperwork and picked up the car, the price of the maintenance package went up $500. He offered it to us at the price before it went up 3 days before--WHAT?! We didn't want it at that price 2 weeks ago, and now we are mad, and your solution to make us feel better is to have us pay ANOTHER $1500??? It's BS. He promised us rubber floor mats and was willing to listen to us make offers on what we wanted, but really, they couldn't offer us anything (at least so far) that we wanted. Finally (after over 1h), the car showed up. BUT it was missing the 2nd key (that we were promised). He said he'd track down the other key and mail it to us with the rubber floor mats--or order another key if need be. We tried to refuse delivery on the car, we were so angry! Also: missing navigation CD, wrong color floormats, missing cup holder, wrong grill (was it in an accident?), low oil, missing brake light &/or cover, bubbles in clear coat, AND the hood doesn't line up correctly with the body on the right side, which ALSO indicates it was in an accident--EVEN THOUGH IT'S SUPPOSED TO BE A "certified used BMW"--and accident free. Unfortunately, we aren't done dealing with these clowns, but so far the entire experience has been awful. More
I had the most wonderful experience at Open Road BMW. I worked with Ahmed, who sold me the car at a very fair price and with no haggling.
