Worst experience at Openroad Honda in Edison. Purchased CRV in March 2025 and 6 months later a piece broke off from the trunk, I waited 3 hours to be told that I had to come back the next day to Purchased CRV in March 2025 and 6 months later a piece broke off from the trunk, I waited 3 hours to be told that I had to come back the next day to replace the part. 2 weeks later the same part broke indicating that the part was not the issue. I went in for a scheduled appointment just to be told that my advisor was not there, nor was the technician, so I was told that they not help me and to call my advisor to schedule another appointment after I took off a day from work for this appointment. Going through this with a 6 month old vehicle, so I say poor customer service and poor manufacturing. Don’t buy Honda and don’t go to Open Rad Honda. More

I had a horrible experience at Open Road Honda in Edison. I took my Pilot in for a timing belt and water pump replacement, which cost me $800. But just three weeks after the service, the car stalled on the road. I had to tow it and spent $1,000 to replace the alternator. Then, a couple of months later, it stalled again in a parking lot, and I had to tow it once more, this time spending another $1,000 to replace the starter. I was told everything was fine after the initial service. To make matters worse, since then, my mileage has dropped from 17 MPG to 14 MPG on local drives. More

I don't typically write reviews while still in the presence of either the establishment or specific person, but this one called for it. My wife had been in the market for a new vehicle and she's a num presence of either the establishment or specific person, but this one called for it. My wife had been in the market for a new vehicle and she's a number cruncher by nature and by practice. She did all the work, went to several different dealerships just to peruse the inside and out of the vehicle, to see what incentives certain facilities were offering, then, ultimately providing her expectations on pricing. My wife absolutely did her homework and it paid off ten-fold when she met with Erik Gomez. Erik was respectful, not pushy, but attentive and energetic. He came off as someone who wasn't trying to make a deal, but instead, as someone wanting to see my wife happy and excited about the experience of getting a new car. Erik was very responsive and even helped us out with silly questions about the vehicle in the wee hours of the evening. I don't know if it just happens to be his way of salesmanship or if he was just naturally personable, but he's the guy I would absolutely go back to when I need a new car, or my kids. This is a family oriented guy, who drives the cars he sells and gets his kicks off your happiness. Cars are not cheap, but they don't have to break your bank either. We arrived at a number that worked for both parties, and even with the finance manager, there were no additional surprises. I value EDISON HONDA and if I were you, don't bother shopping around. Either come see Erik right off the bat, or get one or two numbers elsewhere and bring it to him....he'll beat it or counter it with some add-ons you hadn't considered. Plus, it was an overall good vibe around him and this Honda location. More
