Dear todd92, I am sorry to hear that your Mazda's daytime running light failed a second time. As I am sure you are aware by now, Mazda USA would not permit a second recall repair. In their assessment, the initial repair was done correctly, and therefore, the warrantable period to cover the repair a second time had been exceeded. We attempted to apply for some assistance from Mazda on a goodwill basis, but it was denied. I further regret that you did not agree with our assessment of your vehicle's needs. Our technicians are extensively trained and certified by Mazda USA and based on that, we rely on them to assess our customers' vehicle needs and make recommendations. Sometimes those needs are urgent, requiring an immediate attention, and other times those recommendations are preventative in nature. Perhaps that was not communicated to you clearly and we will use your feedback in an effort to improve our service. An outright lie. We contacted Mazda US after leaving your dealership and the recall repair was approved within 24 hours. Headlamp assembly was replaced at Crystal Mazda cheerfully, promptly and with no attempt to intimidate my daughter with bogus, unnecessary repairs. Stay away from this deceitful and fraudulent dealership.
