I went to Open Road Mazda to lease a new Mazda3 having been a previous owner. The friendliness and professionalism of the staff was apparent from the time I arrived. Brian did a good job of going over the been a previous owner. The friendliness and professionalism of the staff was apparent from the time I arrived. Brian did a good job of going over the features of the vehicle. I wanted a specific set of options, manual transmission being one, which were not readily accessible but Brian outlined my options which included securing the vehicle elsewhere and installing the options not already included. He was detailed in spelling out the timeframes and the vehicle was ready for delivery when he said it would be. I was provided with a loaner while they acquired my vehicle and installed my options. The work on the vehicle was immaculate and the pricing was fair and right within the price range I felt comfortable with. There was no high sales pressure and all available options were explained in detail. After taking possession, Brian, once again, went over all the features also pairing my smartphone with the vehicles bluetooth capabilities. Also, Mike did a nice job of going over the paperwork with me. I have leased vehicles before and this, by far, has been my best experience. I strongly recommend this dealer. More
Shopping for a new Mazda 3 from Open Road Mazda of East Brunswick was a pleasure. Mohamed explained all the different models, and was very knowledgable with all their different motor options. I was inter Brunswick was a pleasure. Mohamed explained all the different models, and was very knowledgable with all their different motor options. I was interested in their new 2.0 liter Skyactiv engine, and even though it was a new motor, Mohamed knew all about it. Besides from being friendly, and not pushy, he gave me a great price. I didn't buy the car that first day though. I thought about it for a couple days, and then called Mohamed on his cell phone. It turned out it was his day off, but he said he'd meet me at the dealership that night anyway. I bought the car the next day, and Mo explained everything about the car & financing and he even paired my Blackberry to the car's bluetooth. I've been to other dealerships and the salesmen are usually very pushy. If you want a relaxed car shopping experience, along with the best price, I'd HIGHLY recommend Open Road Mazda of East Brunswick. P.S. After I bought the car, I was introduced to Eddie (the manager) and he was extremely friendly as well. The entire team over there in East Brunswick are great. Thanks Guys, I'm loving my new ride! BEWARE OF Open road WHEN BUYING A USED CAR especially if dealing with Paul Ruben and Frank Hayes. They had a car I wanted advertised for sale on internet. After calling in and agreeing on a price I asked bo dealing with Paul Ruben and Frank Hayes. They had a car I wanted advertised for sale on internet. After calling in and agreeing on a price I asked both Paul Ruben and Frank Hayes numerous times if there were any Flaws , scrathes , if car was owned by smoker , etc . .. They assured me the car was flawless and there was nothing negative reported on carfax so i made a deposit and drove 300plus miles each way to pickup vehicle. When we arrived car wreaked of smoke and all 4 wheels where scratched , Tires had slashes mirrors were scraped and there were scrapes on the front and side of car that were poorly touched up and front bumper was very obviously repainted. This was all on a supposedly like new 2011 Ford Fusion Sport with 6000 miles on it . This place cannot be trusted when buying a used vehicle. Wasted alot of time and money and gas for nothing and unfortunately has also left me with a very negative impression of New Jersey used Car Dealers. More
We went in looking for a used car. Mohamed Khan was an absolute pleasure to work with. He was extremely patient (we test drove many cars) and we were there for hours. He worked out a better price for a new car then we would have paid for a used one. He was very personable, professional, knowledgable and had a great personality. David the finance person (I do not recall his last name) was also very helpful and got us an even better deal. Overall this was a great experience from start to finish. I would highly recommend this dealership. More

I have just recently bought a Civic from Open Road's Honda dealership and was informed of the other locations as well as brands. My husband's 2011 Mazda 3 started to make some weird noises, so I decided Honda dealership and was informed of the other locations as well as brands. My husband's 2011 Mazda 3 started to make some weird noises, so I decided to bring it to the East Brunswick Mazda to get it checked out. I had made an appointment via the phone which was simple and painless. When I arrived for my appointment I waited for about 10 minutes all during which Dennis came and apologized for the wait. I explained the noise and they took the car into the shop right away. They said it might take awhile so they set me up with a courtesy car. I did not expect that at all, I thought I would have to wait for everything to be checked out. As I was driving the loaner I received a call from Dennis saying how they could not hear the noise but with my permission they would drive it around and change the climate and terrain to see if that would help identify the problem. I explained I would not be able to get the loaner vehicle back for another 2 hours, he then stopped me and said that I was to keep the car until me car was returned to me. I was thrilled to hear this. Long story short, when I picked up my FIXED car I was so happy with the experience that I told them I would be back if any other service problems occurred. For such a small service area, they surely make up for it in customer service! More
