Transaction was ok. Car was listed as a certified used car, called to ensure it was available and went to test drive. The car wouldn't start. They did have another similar car I test drove and brought that right out. Decided to do the paperwork to trade and purchase later in the week. Arrived to pick up and trade in. They did replace the battery and alternator but there were a few issues. 1) there was a piece of trim that they agreed to replace as it was scratched and they did not. They added onto the contract that they would replace the trim on another future day. 2) they said the tank would be full and it only had a 1/4 tank I added this to the contract, we will see if they follow through on this when I bring the car in again. 3) I asked for a copy of the certified Volvo 130 point checklist and it was signed and completed with a date after I first looked at the car and after it was marketed online as a certified used car. Seemed strange, maybe nothing. Everyone was friendly just some questionable details. More

This is my second lease from Volvo of Edison and I came back not just for the quality of car, but more importantly for a dealer and sales representative I feel I can trust. The trust factor goes long way with me as I've been to other dealerships where they are very high pressure and don't let you out of the showroom as well as I dealing with bait and switch aspects, what is advertised all of a sudden becomes a little different when you are ready to purchase. As long as Volvo continues to make quality vehicles as they have been doing for years Volvo of Edison is my preference of dealership because I feel like I am getting a fair deal and have developed a positive relationship with the dealership. The service at Volvo of Edison was extremely friendly. The front desk was helpful when we wanted to test drive an XC90.
