They lied and made promises that they did not keep. They are the most deceptive salesman I have ever worked with. Mercedes Benz has a good reputation however this dealership acted dishonorably. This is a wa More

Hi Jeff, Your response is appreciated. Let me first say that the point of my email was not to say that I was 'mistreated', but moreso that I was not treated as if I were appreciated as a customer. My salesman provided the bare minimum effort needed to facilitate the sale. I have friends who are Mercedes owners & I've always been told that the Mercedes dealer experience is like no other whether you purchase pre-owned or new. Open Road has an air of ambivalence like I've never experienced. Two most recent examples are that first, I was assured a manual was in my car prior to my leaving. I realized there was instead a brochure inside. I left my salesman Michael yesterday a vmail and he never called me back. Also, I only looked for the manual because I had some issues with the car after leaving the lot, which turned out to be minor, however Sunday I emailed the Sales Mgr John and asked him to please call me Monday morning to discuss the issues and he never replied. The non-response from both him & Michael on my end send a clear message of 'good-riddance' to me as a customer. I shared my experience with a Mercedes dealer salesperson in my local area (Mercedes of Hagerstown, MD - well reviewed by customers online) whom I called for assistance in locating a manual since I couldnt reach Michael at Open road. He was shocked by my experience overall. Ultimately, I've been left Jeff feeling very unsettled & at times regretful about my purchase in sum as the ambivalence of the staff at Open Road has translated to my being left with a lack of comfort/security in the quality of my vehicle. After googling this dealership post-purchase, I noticed another poor review from a customer which validated my experience even further. I drove over 200 mi & 4 hrs after viewing my purchased vehicle online & looked forward to a great customer experience. I instead left feeling as if I had just made a big mistake. I'm not sure how you can really rectify this as it seems there is a culture of this type of service at this dealer. Unfortunately, I just was not aware of this before I went out of my way to drive there. The reviews on this site also appear quite clearly written, in most part, by those associated with this dealership. So I've made it a point to post my personal experience in other areas of the web. Thanks for your note. P.S. I still don't have a manual. Johnette Barham

I truly am sorry to hear that this happened Johnette. I also apologize for the delayed response. If you have not received a manual since the time you wrote your response, please contact me via email at jeff.luong@openroad.com or you can give me a call at 732-839-4515 (my direct line) and I will see that you receive a manual for your car. The way you were treated is not how Open Road handles their customer service and I can assure you that the employees involved have been noted and will be dealt with on a executive level. Again please contact me through the email or phone number provided and I will do my best to at least fix what I can. Jeff Luong
