No communication, slow service Very hard to reach anyone in service. Ever. I rented a car for 3 days and left the rental at GMC because they assured me they would alert Enterprise to pick it up that day. They did not, and I got billed for 2 extra days. Another time they had my car from 9:30 am - 3:30 pm, only to tell me they needed to order a part and would not be doing anything, and that I should come get the car and bring it back when the part comes in. Of course I’d tried to reach them all day with no answer. I had to find Uber during rush hour. New service guy Glenn is only good one there. Ask for him. More

I called to have recall work done on a used car I bought, as well as a full inspection on the vehicle. I called the day before to inquire as to the cost. I was told that it was $89.95. When I went to pick as well as a full inspection on the vehicle. I called the day before to inquire as to the cost. I was told that it was $89.95. When I went to pick up my car, there was no charge. I was told the inspection they do was done. When I asked about the payment, I was told that it wasn’t needed. Afterwards, I got a call saying they had no idea I was wanting a used car inspection. I left a voicemail message indicating I couldn’t understand why they had no idea about this since I specifically booked it for that date for that intended purpose. I’m disappointed that the work I requested when I made the appointment, along with the written notice to do the inspection, was not honored with excuses that they didn’t know I wanted this done. Not happy with the way things were handled. Also, they shouldn’t have people sitting behind desks in the service area who carry on personal conversations and tell me I need to wait for someone else to come handle my business. Very unprofessional. More

Some Recommended Service Not Needed I went in for an oil change and was told I needed service that was not needed. Oil change needed, got brake flush that was probably needed, recommende I went in for an oil change and was told I needed service that was not needed. Oil change needed, got brake flush that was probably needed, recommended wheel alignment was not needed based on observed tire wear. Rear drum brake replacement not needed on a truck with 41,000 miles. Two new tires were recommended. There is sufficient tread life left and I will replace probably at the next oil change. I guess if a person is flush with money and wants to keep new parts on their vehicle at all times, recommendations like this might be useful. For those of us that believe in replacing parts after they wear out, these type of recommendations are useless and unnecessary. Orange Buick GMC has changed their policy on maintenance recommendations. Not sure I will continue to have my GMC Sierra serviced at this facility in the future. I'm not impressed that a dealer would recommend over $1000 of service not needed. Bill Murdock, my service technician, is a nice guy and this review in no way reflects poorly on him. More
