Total Ripoff Our Mazda 3 has had the same problem since we bought it (used but only 2 years old) two years ago. We've taken it in to the Orem, UT dealership 3 time Our Mazda 3 has had the same problem since we bought it (used but only 2 years old) two years ago. We've taken it in to the Orem, UT dealership 3 times. The first time, they charged us $450 for nothing. They charge $120+ just to diagnose it, and then they did some computer updates. Their 'fix' did nothing -- the problems remained. The second time we took it in, they changed MAF for $400+ and it did nothing -- the problems remained. The third time they decided we needed to change a wiring harness ($1500!) and a fuel-air sensor ($249) and there are a whole bunch more codes that maybe the new wiring harness will fix, maybe not. This is the last mazda I will ever purchase, and this dealership stinks! They'll charge you an arm and a leg every time, for pretty much nothing. Oh, and when we bought the car we had to have a second key made. They charged something like $370! Yes, it's an electronic key, but are mazda parts made of gold? I only wish I'd never have to deal with this place again!!! I'm really tempted to sell my piece-of-junk mazda as soon as I get it fixed, at a huge financial loss to me, just so I never have to see them again. Don't buy a mazda! I need to add that the employees aren't the problem. They do a fine job. The business model and the faulty products are the problem. More
