My experience The only negative I had with my experience in getting my car serviced was when I called to schedule an appointment. I was on hold for about 2 minutes and then was asked to leave a message and they would return my call. I left a message but after about an hour I did not receive a return call. I called again and got a person and scheduled my service. I had no problems at the dealership service department after that. I also realize that they have lots of calls to handle and I certainly understand. More

Dishonest!!! Bait and Switch Tactics!!! PLEASE READ!!! Until now I never knew what it was like to take a car of my own to another shop/mechanic. I work in a shop, fixed my own cars my entir PLEASE READ!!! Until now I never knew what it was like to take a car of my own to another shop/mechanic. I work in a shop, fixed my own cars my entire life. Recently I haven't been able to work due to two prolapsed disks in my neck. My car has issues I'm aware of but I've put off fixing due to the fact that my neck and cold weather don't mix. Water pump is going out, tensioner pulley bearing shot, coolant should be flushed. I know this. I and my wife drive our Camry to do some Black Friday shopping and the cooling system gives up in a parking lot. Brent Brown Toyota was close enough I could drive there safely. I called ahead to get a price to fix everything I want to have fixed - the way I would do it. We were given a "high" estimate of $1200. They said they were quoting us a high price in case they ran into something unforeseen. I knew what needed to be fixed, it did sound high but I had no choice. This is a long review so let me try to sum it up from here. After we dropped the car off we spoke with the service people on the phone. The first phone call: $1480 now! no pulley replacement and they want to replace a $29 belt and charge me $167 extra for it. I say no! What about the original $1200 quote where you'll replace the tensioner pulley like I asked about? They said they'll ask a tech and call me back. Second phone call: They'll replace the pulley like they originally stated they would- new cost however $1717.00. And If I say no and want my car back I have to pay them $115. I paid the $115 and got out of there. Fixing it myself for $385. Brent Brown Toyota railroaded me with the grossest, most discusting act of "Bait n' Switch" I've ever seen. They wouldn't even cut me a deal on the $115 "diagnostic fee". They didn't diagnose a thing! They thought they could take advantage of me, assuming I was just another clueless customer. Shame on you Brent Brown Toyota! Everyone else, please learn from my mistake. Stay away from this dealership! Find yourself an honest shop. I'm getting physical therapy on my neck, hopefully no surgery. More
