This was one of the worst experiences for buying a vehicle we have ever had. We found the vehicle we liked online. My husband went through the preapproval and was preapproved. The next day we spoke with Rosalinda (she was the only good part of this experience) and set up an appointment. We went into the dealership that morning to look at the vehicle. We noticed the windshield was busted and the back driver's tire had nails in it. We went inside to speak to the sales lady and explained to her that my husband was pre approved but the vehicle needed some serious repairs. In comes this older gentleman not even sure of his name. We voice our concerns and he states the vehicle hasn't even been through the service department (WAIT!! WHAT?? It's already listed) but he states that the tire can be fixed and they can schedule the windshield to be replaced and we can bring the vehicle back for that. FINE!! Lets test drive it. So my husband and I take it down the road, the only light on the dash is the tire light cause of low air pressure. It seems to run good, as long as they fix it so be it. We'll take it. Go back inside and get moved into a different office. The older gentleman again comes back in and gets some information from my husband, we tell him who he was preapproved through and the payments would be a little over 500 a month and only for 48 months with the preapproval. They leave we wait. The older gentleman comes in and states they can't find the preapproval where he was done and that they could get us a better rate and maybe a lower payment. So my husband gives him some more information. We decide since it's lunch that we will go eat while we wait. When we get back we are told again that the truck would have the tire fixed and we could come back to get a new windshield. Okay fine. We wait some more. Finally we are told Hey come into Sal's office he has ya'll ready. Okay great. We are then told that the system was down and that my husband could come back on Monday to get the contract and sign the paperwork. My husband signed a paper stating that we were taking the vehicle for an overnight test drive and Sal even printed out a nice overnight test drive tag. But we have to get insurance and we have to pay our down payment. We have been told this entire time that they have gotten us a better rate and a better payment. My husband and I go into the 4th office of the day to put insurance on the vehicle. Done we get up and tell Rosalinda we are done and ready to go. In comes another guy, don't have a clue his name. He says " HOLD ON that vehicle cannot leave this lot it hasn't even gone through inspection" WHAT?!? We just put insurance and a down payment on this vehicle cause we were told it could go home with us. NOPE can't go come back Monday it will be ready. Monday rolls around my husband calls up there. He's told the vehicle is in service we will get Rosalinda to call with updates. NOTHING NO WORD! So we go back up there and told Oh it's got an oil leak and yada yada. Whatever when will it be ready. Maybe tomorrow. Tuesday morning Sal calls HEY you need to come in and sign the paperwork. My husband goes in and signs. Sal tells him okay I'll email you the contract and paperwork. Wednesday rolls around still NO VEHICLE! Call up there and Sal gets an attitude telling my husband it takes time to get the vehicle ready and that he needs to be patient. How patient do you think I should be after all the bull crap we have gone through and been told. Well Thursday morning my husband gets a call from Rosalinda that the vehicle is ready and they bringing it to us. GREAT!! We are excited. The vehicle gets here and the Check engine light is on. My husband puts his scanner on it and there's a misfire on cylinder 2 and the oil hasn't been changed cause if so they forgot to reset the Oil Life gauge.
