My experience dealing with this dealership (Ourisman Chantilly Toyota, Virginia) is very unpleasant, feels insulted and wasted 3 hours of my time with no outcome. Here is the story. On Feb 11, 2021 found 2 4runner TRD off road premiums listed on their website. Started a chat discussion with sales manager James “JT” Arscott and finally asked for an email quote (With the best offer) for the one I am interested in. Received the email on the same day from JT with an edge price (Which is supposed to be their best price over the elite price). I confirmed with JT that the vehicle is available and is at the dealership, which he confirmed. I confirmed to visit the dealership the next day Feb, 12th 10AM. I received an email for another internet sales manager, Hamid Wahidi, on the 12th morning confirming my visit. Me and my son reached the dealership around 10:30 AM. Talked to the front desk and got connected with Ashkan Honarkhan, sales manager. I asked for JT, they mentioned he is off that day and Ashkan will take care of my visit. As usual, he asked for the details on what and why I am there, and I explained, and asked to test drive the vehicle. He asked me and my son to take a seat while they get the vehicle. In another 15minutes he comes back and says that the vehicle is at the storage location and it will take approximately 30mins to bring it and someone is already on the way to get it, also asked if I want to drive another 4runner which is readily available in the lot. Which I declined and mentioned that I like to test drive the one I am interested in. 30 min not a big deal, so I mentioned we will go and have a coffee and come back. Got back in 20mins or so, and started waiting again in the dealership. In between one other sales guy, don’t remember his name, came over and asked if I want to drive a used same trim which I declined again. Now Ashkan comes over and tells me that it may take another 40mins, due to what ever reason. Which I said ok. Now I am getting a bad feeling about this and was telling my son something is wrong. In another 30 mins, the guy comes over again and says it may take another hour and asks if I want to wait or go home and comeback later. Also offered to bring the vehicle home if I wish. Since I was waiting there almost 2hours plus, I said another hour is fine and Ashkhan confirmed “an hour tops”. Very confident lie. I know, at this point you may be thinking I am stupid to wait any longer. Yes, which I realized later. Sometimes, you do things that you regret later. Now the interesting part, after 45mins, the sales manager Ashkan comes over with a sad face and an apology and informs me that the vehicle is not available. Some made up story of General manager at the location and whatever. Now I am totally pissed and felt insulted. But I am a professional, dealt the scenario professionally and walked out of the dealership. What can I say, friends please do not go to this place if you have self-respect. Personally, for me this turned out to be good. I closed a deal for the similar vehicle at another dealership by the end of the day. For a better price and a vehicle with 0 miles, which got there on that day and may be a better color. But the experience at the other dealer “Miller Toyota in Manassas” was excellent. Sales consultant, manager and finance manager all are very professional and the whole process took less than an hour. The new vehicle prep took additional 45mins. So all I will say, Ourisman Chantilly is not the place where you want to go if you are looking for a Toyota. I did not read other reviews prior to this incident, looks like its their common practice. Great experience buying a new 4runner with Josh and EJ We recently purchased a new 4Runner for my wife, and it was the easiest, most enjoyable vehicle transaction I've ever been a part of. Our salesperson We recently purchased a new 4Runner for my wife, and it was the easiest, most enjoyable vehicle transaction I've ever been a part of. Our salesperson Josh was incredibly nice, super knowledgeable about the products, and very eager to help. When we got there he already had the vehicle we were interested in gassed up and ready for us to take for a test drive. He was able to tell us about all of the features, and the difference between two trim levels we were debating between. Also, EJ in finance was able to make our transaction much smoother than I've ever experienced, and was a pleasure to work with as well. We were able to get exactly what we were looking for and left with huge smiles on our faces because Josh and EJ made the entire transaction so easy. We will definitely be back to see Josh and EJ next time we need a new vehicle! More

They gave us a rate with ally that was about 3 times what we could get at the credit union. The finace mng said it was aleady done just need out signature. We said we would goto the credit union in the morning. Although we could tell he was not in favor of that we left. The following morning we went to the credit union and waited until late that eving and went back by our local branch. The underwrite turned down the loan because we had multiple inquiries. The Dealership finace manger sent inquiries to many many finace compaines and banks after we left the dealership. From our credit report ally was the only inquiry on the date we were at the dealership. But by the time we went to credit union they had blown out out credit with so many inquiries we had no choice but to take the higher rate through the dealership so they could make the extra money on the back end of finacing by selling the note to the lender that had already accepted the loan the day before. The manager at the credit union called the underwriter and inquired. They said tradisionally a few inquiries would not have been an issue. But that the amount that came in on our report was unacceptable for them to give the loan. BEWARE OF THESE xxxx SUCKERS! My rating has recovered over the months but is still way down from where it was before we went to this dealership. There position is if they do not sell you a vehicle, you will not be able to get finaced anywhere for many months if not over a year. This is the worst type of dealership that goes by the motto you buy from us our you will buy from no one. More

Terrible service center Brand new Toyota 2020 and 6 months later with just 3500 miles on, AC stopped working. Customer service at the service center was non-existent. specifi Brand new Toyota 2020 and 6 months later with just 3500 miles on, AC stopped working. Customer service at the service center was non-existent. specifically Jose, the assistant service manager was rude and could not be bothered to assist or explain the issue. Insisted the car is fine got in it the AC is still blowing warm air, took it back and they kept it overnight turns out some issue with the sensor. when I went to pick it up Jose was not interested in helping or explaining what happened, kept rudely typing and doing whatever else instead of helping me understand what the issue was. When I said I want to check the car before taking it back he said I wouldn't have called you to say the car is fixed if it wasn't when that's exactly what he had done the day before. Sent an email to the GM 10 day ago no response. Thoroughly disappointed. They also left a black scuff mark on the passenger seat, just lovely. Will be selling the car and never returning to Toyota.
