My husband and I met with Nader on Tuesday evening to look at a 2018 Expedition. When we decided that we did want to purchase the vehicle we met with him and another gentleman. It was extremely clear from the start that neither wanted to deal with me, they wanted to speak to my husband only. Unfortunately, I handle these items for us personally and for our businesses. When I asked technical questions they were very dismissive and spoke to me like I was a child. I have run an automotive business for over 20 years and know what questions I would like answered when purchasing a vehicle. I offered to leave a deposit of whatever was needed to secure the vehicle since I already had secured funding from Navy Federal Credit Union. I was told that was not allowed so we agreed that I would pick up the check at the bank the following day and come back to pick up the vehicle, not realizing it was Veteran's Day and the banks were closed. Nader started texting my husband at 8am on Wednesday and during the course of the day sent him over 15 text messages telling him that he needed to come in because he had come in on his day off for us. This was after we informed him that our hands were tied because of the Holiday. The next morning I contacted Nader to let him know that we had to pick up the check and inquired how they would like it made out. My husband's business partner is the one who got the personal loan form NFCU and was unfortunately stuck in Florida and could not come personally so I spoke to the General Manger who agreed to handle the transaction via FaceTime as long as he could verify Mr. Donohue's identity. I explained that I would have a copy of his passport, his driver's license and his Government DoD CAC Card. That was agreed to be acceptable. I again offered to come out and give whatever deposit was necessary to hold the vehicle until the following day when the money arrived at my business and it was declined. We agreed that I would be out at 10am on Friday morning. During this entire time I was aggressively pushed to switch to in house financing. At one point I was even told that they could not sell it to me unless I did that. Almost every time I spoke to someone I was told that I HAD to use in house financing and that it "would be better for me." Nader sent myself and my husband a text message at 11PM telling us it was sold right before that. He also told us how he came in on his day off to sell us the vehicle and we should of switched to in house financing. This morning my husband spoke to Buster at the Chevrolet location and a salesperson at the Bowie location who both assured him that the vehicle was still available and he could come drive it anytime. Between the excessive text messages from Nader at all hours and the blatant disrespect from him and the sales manager it certainly seems that your staff does not like doing business with women. They had no problem selling the vehicle to my husband, even today AFTER we were told it was already sold. Between the three of us there is at least 1 to 2 vehicles purchased a year. There are new vehicles regularly purchased from your Lexus store. I cannot see any of that continuing with your company. I cannot believe that in 2020 there are still businesses that obviously think that a woman is not capable of handling business transactions and blatantly make that clear at every turn More

Had a wonderful experience with my purchase. Walked in on a Saturday, factory ordered my Jeep, and in four weeks it arrived. My salesman Herbert kept me in the loop of the status of my build throughout the process. He was very helpful, patient and answered all my question. Only dropping one star because of the finance process. Leo, handling my finance, wanted to sell me an extended warrant which is expected. When I asked him specifically about the Jeep Mopar warranty, surprisingly he did not know (or claimed to not have known) what I was talking about. There's a huge Mopar logo on the back of the dealership and the window sticker says, "Ask your dealership about Jeep's Mopar extended warranty." I preferred Mopar over the JMA warrant he was trying to sell me because I'd never heard of JMA and Mopar cost much less. Long story short, I opted to purchase the one he offered but changed my mind shortly after. He made me feel that I was wrong or at fault for changing my mind. He rambled on about how it looks bad when the finance office has to change paper work and that upper management thinks that the deal is "shimmy shimmy". That was the only down side to the process. Ultimately, I'm extremely happy with my purchase and my experience at this dealership. More
