Dear Mrs. Walters-Smith, I'm sorry if our staff was a little too excited to talk to you about buying or replacing your vehicle. As I shared with you on the phone, we feel it's our responsibility to let a good customer like you know when they're in a peak equity position and especially when they may be able to sell us their vehicle for as much as you paid for it three years ago! I'm sorry that one of our new sales people called you and possibly did not handle the situation as eloquently as we would have liked! He is yet to sell a vehicle and learning the ropes. I will use this as a great opportunity to explain to him when 'no means no'. Especially with a valued service customer. We need to be able to have these conversations constructively and without applying too much pressure. We want you to buy your next vehicle from us just as you have three others previously! There are several phone numbers on your vehicle's account and I imagine one of them belongs to your husband which would explain how he was also contacted. You also referenced his vehicle was also here for service around the same time as yours so I can see how it is possible that he received a call or two as well. One of our sales managers did reach out to our IT department to try to mark you as "do not call" from one of the systems could have resulted in these phone calls. I verified that the two phone numbers, and e-mail in that portal have red lines through them indicating 'DO NOT CONTACT". I am happy to hear that your purchase experience was great, 5-stars and your service advisor has been amazing, is clear and handles your vehicle with care and respect. I apologize for the aggravation that led to your review. I hope that all of the positive experiences we provide trump today's disappointment and that we can continue to provide you with a great experience both in sales and service as you described above! I appreciate how quickly you responded, but you failed to identify the issue for which I contacted you in the first place. The issue that I had was the fact that your salesman chose to ignore me, the owner of the vehicle, to instead speak to my husband. Even after my husband told him it wasn't his car, he still made no effort to speak to me. You, as the GM made the situation worse by man-splaining the marketing and sales tactics rather than offering a simple apology. Had you simply listened and offered an apology for the lack of consideration your salesman showed me, I would have never opted to change my rating.

Dear Sir, The Manufacturer’s Suggested retail price is $91,190. We, have additional dealer markup on many of our vehicles as do just most dealerships in the Nation due to inventory shortages, not to mention this Hellcat Durango is no-longer in production. Most folks who inquire about a vehicle like this understand and have encountered this before. I apologize if this is the first time that you inquire about a vehicle like this. Most say ‘thank you’ and continue looking for the best deal possible or if it’s the right vehicle for them we usually make a deal with reasonable customers who understand the market and the circumstances! As you can tell, none of the similar vehicles remain but this one at this point in time! We have found that in many cases our dealer mark-up has been less than other area dealerships. You reached out to us from Ohio. Obviously folks in Ohio are charging over MSRP for similar inventory or you would have purchased one locally. Or, there is no inventory in Ohio which would also justify some of the supply and demand issues that you seem to not agree with. In any event, I’m sorry we could not strike a deal with you and that you chose this path. If you would like to make an offer over the Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail price I would be happy to discuss that with you personally! Feel free to reach out. Absolutely not the case here and in fact you copied and pasted you’re response. No one from your dealership even attempted to call me to resolve this. You clearly had the car at 119xxx and I called to verify price and was given the sale price AS ADVERTISED on your website of a 20k discount. Salem’s Zeshan said that was CORRECT. It was when your sales manager got on the phone and said it was a mistake and the website was wrong and would be corrected. However 2 days later it is not. An employee from the dealership went to my FB page and in turn threatened negative reviews for my personal company in response. This “car guy” was also laughed at by the VP of Lustine. This shows complete childish behaviors from this dealership and obviously a bait and switch. You cannot list MSRP at one price then list actual price then have another.
