Poor Service - Had 2 chances at it Had an Air Bag recall on our Pilot. They could not get us right in because they had to "Order it". They scheduled an for 8:30 appt. We also had a issue with the automatic doors locks and asked them to provide an estimate of repair. Close to 5pm that afternoon we get a call about the problem with the door locks and they said they should finish it up around 6 PM. This is not acceptable to me. We actually dropped the car off the night before. We should have had a call by noon about the repairs. I have a father in law sick at home and had to rearrange my evening to pick up the car later. Not thrilled with their service. We'll see how they treat me with my CRV Air bag recall next week!! Part 2 CRV Had to wait 2 weeks for the Air Bag and 2 other recalls to come in for the CRV and they made the appt. Took the car in at 7:30 & got a call for pick-up around 11am. I thought great a lot faster this time. I get there and they gave me the wrong key for my car. Can't find it anywhere. I had to stand around for 25 minutes while they looked for it. They finally found it with other ticket with the same last name. Really? Then they called me over to tell me one of the recall parts they don't carry in stock so they had to order it and now I have to bring the freakin car back into to be serviced. They had 2 weeks to get these parts in. "Sorry Mr. Hall but we can have it tomorrow." "YOU HAD 2 FREAKIN WEEKS!! NOW I HAVE TO REARRANGE MY SCHEDULE TO BRING THE CAR BACK IN!!" I reduced my rating down from a 3 to 2. While I was standing there for 25 minutes, all I heard was the receptionist fielding complaining customer calls and listening to her answer the calls like it was an inconvenience. Then she would make faces and sounds about whoever was on the phone. Very unprofessional. This is why I stopped going to Shockley Honda. Poor service... If it wasn't for the recalls, I would not visit there. Do yourself a favor and find a local mechanic. More

Three Time Buyer It was time for a new car and I didn't even consider going to another dealership. Shockley Honda has taken care of all my car needs since 2006. So, this year, when it was time to replace my CRV I returned to Shockley for my third purchase. This time, the entire buying experience was made even more pleasant when we were paired with Mark Lawson. Mark is the kind of salesman every buyer wants. He was knowledgeable, pleasant and willing to do whatever it takes to get me the new car I wanted. He even took the new car to the detailer to make sure my pinstripe was on the car when I picked it up! I would highly recommend Mark Lawson as the person to see when you go to Shockley! We received a prompt response to my request for the "e-quote" price, which was very competitive. We worked with Jennifer Vance and she was quite accommodating on a very busy Saturday! She took the time to learn about our interests and really helped us zero in on the right Civic. The entire time we spent with her was not high pressured or intimidating in any way - we were quite comfortable with her customer service skills and approach. We negotiated a fair trade-in allowance on our old vehicle. The new vehicle financing was done by Phil and that was also a very easy process.
