Excellent Purchase Experience We just bought a new 2017 VW Passat this evening and the total experience was pleasurable...and at no time did we feel pressured. Upon arrival we were greeted by very friendly staff and met with salesman Bill (Goldie) Goldsmith. Goldie was very knowledgeable about the features of the VW Passat and was quick to satisfy our desire for a test drive. After a test drive in a black Passat we then saw another Titanium Beige that we really liked which we took for another test drive. Upon returning from our second test drive we discussed cost and Goldie and the sales manager presented us a price that we felt was very competitive to other makes of cars we were considering at other car dealerships. As an incentive to our purchase, Goldie offered to add pinstripes to the vehicle...which he ultimately did himself at no additional cost to us. In the middle of our discussion about the cost of the Passat we indicated we wanted to get a bit of dinner where my wife and I could come to a conclusion on whether we wanted to purchase the Passat or other top contenders (Mazda 6 and Nissan Altima). Goldie offered to get us some food delivered...but we graciously declined. We did leave to get some dinner...but returned shortly thereafter to finalize purchase of the Passat. We are very pleased with our purchase and our purchase experience. We were also impressed with the "sales process" which was concluded by Jennifer Smith. Doing the paperwork to conclude the sale was easy and Jennifer made the process go quickly. More

When I make large purchases, such as this one, I like to do my homework first to see what kind of experience others have had. Before I came to Ourisman, I had just come from another Honda dealer in Ellicott City. Mind you... I had an appointment for this dealer. When I got there, one of the other sales associates let him know I was there. This salesperson sat talking with another dealer for probably about a good 10-15 minutes before he even acknowledged us. Then, when he did, there was no real connection and he didn't even have what we were looking for... did I mention we had an appointment. Fast-forward to happily leaving there and heading to Ourisman. Completely different experience. The service Laura Joseph (sales) and Jennifer Smith (finance) provided was absolutely wonderful. I was there to help my 18 y/o purchase his first car and Laura took such amazing care of us. From out first introduction to the time we closed the place (literally after 11p), Laura was the best! There was never any pressure to purchase something that was way over our budget... and believe me, an 18 y/o's budget is not that big. She was so patient with us and again, there was never the pressure to get us into something that we didn't want or couldn't afford. Jennifer, was also the best. She was very personable and completely professional in helping us find the best, most affordable rate and monthly payment possible. I have purchased many vehicles, and I can say that this was probably the best experience. Laura and Jennifer were so easy to work with and I nor my son never felt like we were just another customer. We felt like we were their priority from start to finish. High quality service goes a LONG way with me and no question about it...
