Palisades VW would not budge so we bought it from Joe Heidt. Service department has no respect for people's time. Quoted 45 minutes for recall notice on tiguan. After 2 hours waiting in waiting room, I went to find out what was taking so long. They moved my car out because they needed the Bay. Was told it would take another 45 minutes. I was only one waiting. Go to any other VW Dealer. More

Just purchased a GTI I recently purchased a GTI from Palisades Volkswagen. I did quite a bit of research, first to determine the car I wanted to buy and second to figure o I recently purchased a GTI from Palisades Volkswagen. I did quite a bit of research, first to determine the car I wanted to buy and second to figure out which dealership I should work with. I test drove the car at a dealership in Florida while I was on vacation from December 19 to January 1. Buying in Florida did not make sense, so I researched dealerships in the NY Metropolitan area via True Car. There are a few reasons why I chose Palisades over the others, even though they did not have the car in blue, my preferred color. First, the dealership reviews on Yelp and other websites were positive. A friend of mine purchased cars from this dealership in the past and had a positive experience. Second, Angelica was incredibly responsive. I was able to negotiate the entire deal via email, including the probable trade in value of my 2007 Nissan Versa which I ultimately wound up selling privately. The dealership matched the best price I found on True Car, and I was able to close the deal and pick up my car on January 2. I needed to close the deal on that date in order to qualify for a $1500 bonus offered by VW which expired January 4. Third, when I picked up my car, the gentleman who works in finance went over all the documents with me, in detail and with great patience. Fourth, Anthony went over the entire car with me and gave me a detailed lesson in how to use all the electronics. Again, he was patient and answered all my questions. I will definitely work with this dealership again, although I plan to keep my car for many years! More
