Scheduled oil changes, 2 vehicles. I had 2 vehicles serviced yesterday. A free lifetime oil change on a 2016 Escape and a request for an oil change on a 2013 Kia Forte. I was billed f I had 2 vehicles serviced yesterday. A free lifetime oil change on a 2016 Escape and a request for an oil change on a 2013 Kia Forte. I was billed for a tire rotation on the Kia Forte, although there was NO upfront request or discussion for this service. The total charges were in excess of $55.00. After some discussion, a service manager removed the charge for the rotation, but the new bill for the oil change was $44.81, a reduction of less than $10.00. I believe that this charge was excessive and asked the service manager to check it. She said it was the correct charge. I don't believe that. I told her, "It's not the money, but I don't like to be messed with." I have purchased 2 new vehicles from Palm Coast Ford, but I would be reluctant to purchase another. I feel I was not treated fairly, and your service department was being petty. By way of reference, the lifetime oil change on the Escape was billed out at $34.85. I believe this is the correct charge for the oil change on the Kia. More
