Scam or incompetence Initially had my Jeep towed in because it wouldn’t start and was overheating. They charged me 1200+ to replace radiator clamp, fill coolant, oil chan Initially had my Jeep towed in because it wouldn’t start and was overheating. They charged me 1200+ to replace radiator clamp, fill coolant, oil change and replace starter. After I got it back, I had to take it back in because the check engine light came back on and was told by Wally it could mean cylinder misfire and that I should bring it in if it happened again. I had to bring it in at the end of that week as the problem got worse with the sound of fluid gushing under the dash, white exhaust, temperature overheating, no hot air. They charged me $275 to run a diagnostic which lead to an estimate of ~$4800 to replace gasket, cylinders, and a while list of other items. I took it to another mechanic and found that the whole engine had to be replaced since it was all burned up inside and replacing the parts as suggest by Palmen was just a bandaid. On top of that, replacing the starter did not fix my problem as my car didn’t stop due to the cylinders being hydro locked. So either the mechanic(s) didn’t know what he was doing or they were trying to take me for a ride and pay out. I will never return and will be posting reviews online of my experience to warn others. More
