1990 Dodge D150 Thomas Pappas and Eddie in the Service department were instrumental in putting my 1990 D150 back on the road. Eddie and Thomas took as a personal miss Thomas Pappas and Eddie in the Service department were instrumental in putting my 1990 D150 back on the road. Eddie and Thomas took as a personal mission to put my Dad's old truck back on the road. Eddie had all the old school equipment to read the binary codes to discover an ignition timing, ignition circuit and ignition coil firing problem. I told them to not spend more than 500 dollars unless we have an issue with the camshaft and distributor....It is very refreshing for them to say....it was not needed yet. Unbelievable...Eddie tweaked the engine and the idle control valve. Installed a new ignition coil and adjusted the distributor. It is running so smoothly...it is hard to hear it idle....fantastic job!!! More

The Service Dept. is always very busy when I have been there, but someone attends to me quickly and efficiently. I was told that my repairs would take 3-4 days, but I actually got my car back within 48 hours, which was a great surprise. When I picked up my car, I noticed that someone had handwritten on the invoice "AC does not work", which shocked me b/c the AC was working great when I brought in the car. James Hickman, Service Foreman, personally drove the car back into the service bay to check it out immediately, and in fact, there was a hose that had not been reconnected. That is the only reason that I can't rate the Quality of Work a (5) because that is something that should not have happened. The prices charged by any dealership, including Palmer, are significantly higher than other local mechanics, but I appreciate the special pricing on oil changes, which encourages regular maintenance, and keeps me coming back to Palmer Dodge. More
