Easy, Fast, Enjoyable Experience! I stopped by Matthews Ford in Paoli on a Saturday, whereupon I was greeted by Wendy Phiel. I let her know how much I did not relish the process of bu I stopped by Matthews Ford in Paoli on a Saturday, whereupon I was greeted by Wendy Phiel. I let her know how much I did not relish the process of buying a car, and that if she could make if happen in a fast and easy manner, I would buy a car. I gave her my preferences and price, and left. Within two hours, she had found cars to review, and she emailed me the window stickers. She found me my car!! I met her again Monday night and purchased the car the following Saturday. She arranged for the transfer of my insurance, the registration and tags. Wow! That's service! She helped me set-up the features of the car and sent me on my way! Follow-up? You bet!! I highly recommend Wendy Phiel and her team at Matthews Ford. It could not have been easier, more trouble-free, or more pleasant!! I now own the right car for me!!! More

Good experience with excellent follow through Like most car buyers today, I had done a few searches with auto trader, and car gurus and had a pretty good idea of what I wanted and what I was willi Like most car buyers today, I had done a few searches with auto trader, and car gurus and had a pretty good idea of what I wanted and what I was willing to pay. I reached out to Paoli Ford through a messaging service and had an appt. set up to come in and talk with Bob Gillespie regarding a Toyota Tundra. (no it's not a ford but lets focus on the experience here). After a bit of arm wrestling and negotiations on my trade in and the price of the new vehicle Bob, Steve and I came to an agreement. I have to say that Bob and Steve are true professionals and know the business well. I've purchased over 50 cars and trucks in the last 20 years and have seen all types of dealerships. Paoli Ford is a place that does not engage in any of the typical behaviors that you may see at other dealers (bait and switch, confusing negotiations, lending tricks, etc) just a bunch of good people that want you to leave happy. Bob had a few items that required a follow up on and completed them all as promised. I had a small issue with the vehicle after the fact, and their service department gladly took care of the the problem and had the part ready to install in one day. The only negative that I can point out is that their service department over torqued the lug nuts when putting the wheels back on after inspection, this was discovered when Toyota attempted to remove the wheels and broke (2) wheel lock keys trying loosen them. Hopefully this will trickle down to the Ford tech as a lesson to use proper torque procedures and methods instead of using the fast method of an impact gun in the future. Bottom line: This is a place I would buy another vehicle from Thanks for a positive experience...maybe next time i'll buy a ford :) More

There are a number of Ford dealerships that are closer, but I was unhappy with either their pricing or their sales tactics. Anyway, Paoli responded quickly and professionally to my request. We quickly arrived at a great price on the Explorer. They went far out of their way to locate the trim level and the color I wanted. Though I had been expecting to sell my car privately, the offer that they made was enough to change my mind and I traded it in. No tricks, clear breakdown of discount and rebates, no high-pressure tactics, friendly, and knowledgeable. I took delivery of my car today and it was efficient and quick. I would certainly recommend them without reservation. Bob Gillespie is a pleasure to work with and a true professional. More

Great customer focus Hadn't ever been to Paoli Ford but found the car I wanted there on the Internet. Since I was coming from NJ I was hoping the car would actually be the Hadn't ever been to Paoli Ford but found the car I wanted there on the Internet. Since I was coming from NJ I was hoping the car would actually be there after a trek. I called and spoke to Dan. He told me it was and would contact me if it got scooped up while we travelled there. What's great about Dan's role is that he assigned a sales rep to us so that when we got to the dealership there was no swarming of sales people upon us. They had the car brought up near the show room, which was very convenient for us. The dealership itself is very nicely laid out. Sales rep Dave took us through the features of the car. He went with us on the test drive (We didn't know Paoli roads). He was knowledgeable, friendly, and no-pressure. We knew all we needed to know about the car. Ge got us coffee and tea at the Wawa while the car was detailed ad the paperwork prepped. The tough part - the paperwork - went very smoothly. Keo got it all together so that when we went through the signing it was all arranged. He gave us clear explanation of the extended warranty options and financing options - with no-pressure. Paperwork process was quicker than usual thanks to his prep. I recommend the Paoli Ford buying experience. More
