I went to purchase a used base model TSX as I thought there was no way I could afford the 2010. When I visited Paragon Acura this afternoon, I had absolutely no idea that I would be driving away in a new car. The original intention of my visit was to have my 2006 Acura TL serviced with a simple absolutely no idea that I would be driving away in a new car. The original intention of my visit was to have my 2006 Acura TL serviced with a simple oil change, but after working with the great men and women of the dealership, I can truly say this was my best experience ever. What makes Paragon Acura so amazing is the level of service you get from top to bottom. When I first arrived I was quickly taken care of. The service rep, Kevin Cunningham, quickly took down my information and ensured me that my work would be done in a timely manner. He then referred me to JC Chan, one of the service advisors who would be managing my case. Both Kevin and JC gave me constant updates on my service, making me feel like I just rolled in a 2011 model, not a 2006. There was an unexpected issue with my service (dead battery) which JC quickly let me know. He also gave me a courtesy discount for the unexpected issue. When my car was ready, I asked JC a simple question about the possibility of adding a backup camera to my car at which point he directed me to Sam Yip. And this is where the fun truly begins. Sam answered my question with ease, and then presented a very familiar offer. "What would you do if I could get you out of your car and into a brand new 2010 TL?" I've heard this before, but because of my very foolish decisions in the past and my large amount of negative equity I'm always told "sorry, but we can't help." This time around, Sam was convinced that he could get it done. He gathered my information and worked with James (Finance Manager) to get the deal done. I was so impressed with his patience, understanding of my situation and requirements and most importantly of his candor. I had to wait for James to see me because they were busy this evening, but he kept on giving me constant updates and ensuring that I was kept active, excited on the new car. Christina Martinez also took some time to show me the numerous features of the car and answered every single question I had. In the end, I was out of my 2006 TL (fully paid for), into a 2010 TL Tech Package with all of the features I always wanted. From service to sales to the financing ... this was an amazing experience and one that I could have only wished for. I had been approved for an "upgrade" program that Acura has going at this time. I had a preowned 2004 Acura MDX that I had to give up due to tight personal financial reasons and more that, the loan for it has going at this time. It worked beautifully, never EVER had any problems in the three years I had owned it....sniff, sniff - we do miss her!! Well to continue, it was about that time that my wife needed her own ride anyway and this opportunity had became and win-win-win for the entire party. Straight to the point - Peter Pazmino, Jean Maurilus and their team had bought out my auto loan, they used the remaining value left of my old baby MDX including extra money we put down very well negoiated in efforts to be comfortable with monthly lease payments for a brand spanking new 2010 Acura RDX! They worked out a great deal for us and both Peter & Jean has been nothing but an excellent sales people and very informative when it comes to customer service. They have been always attentative to our needs and checked up on us every once in a while to make sure my wife and I are pleased with the RDX - we had already decided that we're going to buy out the RDX later on. Peter was excellent at explaining & showing all the bells and whistles of my wife's car and Jean was terrific with us on the financing loan process. Also, I had already decided myself that once I'm back on my feet, I'm going back to get that new 2010 Acura MDX - I swear, they've changed everything compared to the 2007-2009 models including replacing that darn, goofy grill that I've hated. I am very Happy with Paragon Acura. I had a very pleasant buying experience. They were able to get the car I wanted and gave me very fair price. I did my research. I have to admit that I am not the easiest customer to please. I wanted the 2010 TL SH-AWD TECH HP 19'WHLS, WHITE, and that was it. No exceptions and they knew it. The salesmanager, Murat, said he would get the car for me. They went over a 100 miles into Connecticut to get the car for me. Knowing that my salesperson, Camillo, was also driving a TL, I knew I made the right decission. He really made me excited about the ease and convenience of all the technology features. The day I picked up my car, It was clean, had a full tank of gas and Camillo had put change in it for Good Luck. That was so nice. Camillo went over everything, including setting up my phone. The finance manager, Jean, explianed all the paperwork for my loan. Everyone at the dealership was very professional, friendly, and worked well together. The TL is really top in its class. When I first called Paragon Acura I talked to a salesman by the name of Melvin Salcedo. We talked about me leasing a 2010 Acura TL. He gave me a very fair deal and price per month, with the mileage I was lo by the name of Melvin Salcedo. We talked about me leasing a 2010 Acura TL. He said no problem and got me a car that was to be ready and prepped by Saturday at 2:00PM. When we first entered the dealership Melvin Salcedo was already there at the door waiting to greet me and seat me down for my paperwork. But before we even did any signing or reviewing he first showed me the car to make sure it was up to my standards. He than went over the details in my lease contract, and after he read it all I thanked him and we got the paperwork done. Now when I came down to Paragon Acura, there had just been a snow storn that hit most of the state of New York, so my Allstate Insurace agency was closed, but Melvin got on the phone with Allstate's 800 number and took care of my new insurance policy and made sure I was taken care of and covered before I left Paragon Acura. Melving Salcedo really went to bat for me as his customer and I was more than satified with his help and service! When the car was ready to take home a young woman by the name of Wendy Deshals came to me and helped show me how to set up all of the technical equipment of my vehicle. Now prior to coming to Paragon Acura, every other dealer I had been to either told me to read the manual that came with the car or just had someone show me how to turn on the radio and lock my doors. But, Wendy Deshals hooked my phone up to the Bluetooth system in my car, set some of my emergency numbers into the system in case of an emergeny while driving on the road. She also showed me how to use the different Key Fobs that came with the car and how to set the memory in my vehicle. She was of great help, because at my age I am not technically savy at all. Once we went over everything she made sure I knew it all and directed me back to Melvin to finish any last details that needed to be gone over with. Wendy Deshals was really a big help to me and much better than any manual the manufacturer gives you and made sure I didn't leave there till I knew more than they guy who designed the car! I was very pleased with her help and service! Overall, I must say Paragon Acura is one of the most professional dealership atmospheres I have ever been in. I own many Automotive repair shops and have worked with many delaerships in over 40 years of busniess but Paragon Acura has to be one if not the best I have ever dealt with on a business and personal level across the board!
