Walked out feeling ripped off! Vehicle Exchange Program I went in for a simple oil change. While sitting in the waiting area, a sales person asked me to his area to talk an about the Vehicle Exchange Program. He told me my lease is almost up and they can help get me into a new car today. I was willing to listen and they spend a good amount of time talking about getting me a new car. They sent me out to test drive the newest model. They passed me around a few times to speak to different people. I ended up with a finance guy and gave me the pitch. I was a little overwhelmed by how quick the process took. They did a credit check and told me I have excellent credit, but did not give me the best rate since I did not plan to put a gigantic deposit nor did I want an extremely high monthly rate. The monthly payment was provided, but it did not show what I paid for. That pricing was glanced over. The idea of leaving the dealership with a new car was enticing. Suffice to say, I ended up with a new car, but not until the extended warranty was added (which was $1000 more than I could have gotten elsewhere, and some kind of tire protection warranty for $800 more. Since the price was all bundled into monthly payments, I did not figure that out until I got home. My advice, buyers beware. Too many slick talking sales people there. I felt they kept me waiting in the waiting room to put the pressure on. More
TERRIBLE TERRIBLE DO NOT GO TO THIS DEALERSHIP I'm a little late BUT I went to Paragon Honda because my 2000 Honda Accord have a blown transmission. My mother bought form Paragon Acura about 2 year I'm a little late BUT I went to Paragon Honda because my 2000 Honda Accord have a blown transmission. My mother bought form Paragon Acura about 2 years before so I thought that because we are returning customers they would treat us better. So, I go into Paragon Honda, I get greeted by 4 different sharks. I typically went in there to see what my options would be on A BASE MODEL CIVIC nothing fancy at all I just needed a car. I asked a salesperson if I am able to see the vehicle I wanted because there was no civics on the showroom floor. So he asks me if I wanted an Si I said no, just a regular civic. He comes out with an EX-L civic coupe to get me mentally on that vehicle. I drive the car and its great but I did NOT want leather. I go back inside with the salesperson he gets me numbers and I told him from the beginning I'm not looking to buy today I just want to see what my options are. He gives me a 336 payment. I said no. I can only afford a 250-300 payment the most I would do is 315. I'm a 20 year old girl, no credit, I had my father to cosign with me. So I told him i dont need anything fancy and he kept pushing me to get into the EX-L that I drove. He gave me a 336 payment for the vehicle i did not want. not only that but it was black and i wanted white. he told me what would make you buy a vehicle today. I told him nothing because I was waiting on a 3500 check, he still pushed me and at this point I felt as if i needed to make a deal bc of how much he was pushing me and my father. we said yes to a 336 payment. we go into finance, the stupid finance manager decided to give us a 482 payment!!!!!! 482 - 4-8-2 ON A FREAKIN CIVIC!!!! i could have a bmw 3 series for 300. A year later, I go into my contract and I see that they added lojack, and extended warrenty on a lease, and honda care....5-6 grand of extras I did not need. this salesperson is still using the money he made off of me a year and a half ago. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS DEALERSHIP TO ANYONE THEY WILL SCREW YOU. and if you do decide to make a deal here, I highly suggest over reading your contract before signing and ask as many questions as possible. Our first visit will soon be forgotten since we love our new 2012 Honda Pilot. We traveled about 4 hours since Paragon's pricing and selection is the best I could find anywhere online. Unfortunately it was not realized right away the one we liked due to the low miles and price, was not out of the shop yet. They were up front calling us once it was discovered, but since we had already left, we decided to see what else they had anyway. Our trade in car was cleared the day before by our mechanic, but to our bad luck it started acting up just before we arrived and the CEL came on once there. We did not quite love what was available on the lot but felt stuck with no car which now couldn't get us much trade in value anymore. Having a little one getting very tired added stress as well. We left with a good value, but being a 2011, we just missed some of those 2012 upgrades. Paragon contacted us to follow up, and upon learning we weren't quite satisfied, they offered to take the 2011 back and find us a 2012. They were very helpful and understanding taking my emails and several calls to ensure 2 Pilots would be ready to decide on and take one home since the paper work takes a long time, and being out of state adds to it. The original silver one we really wanted was finally ready for sale. Mike was again straightforward disclosing it had more damage repair than the other one that he liked much better. Hesitant on a white vehicle, I checked it out. Mike was dead on. It was as perfect as one could hope in a used car. Very clean and drove amazingly. Love the upgrades all around. Paper work still took time though. PA insurance covers your new car until you update your policy. But if traveling to NY, make sure you notify your agent you will need them to provide a new card with your new vehicle before finishing other paperwork. Fax wasn't going through, so they emailed it to me to print there. And their inventory changes quickly. Make sure they have the one you want ready before you head out. Selling lemon used cars...BEWARE! I'm not one to post bad reviews but when you take 6K out of my pocket in cash and sell me a lemon for a car not okay. I had to get the car not only serviced at Paragon but within 6 MONTHS of buying my Malibu I now I have to junk it because of the lack of inspection done on the vehicle. Sold it with bad tires, non working head lights and now engine is done for. Not only has Paragon wasted my money but also my time. They almost costed my life yesterday on the highway selling mean unreliable vehicle. Take it from me and NEVER buy a used car from Paragon! More
Very Bad Very Bad Very Bad I went to this dealer to buy a certified used car today. We went from Connecticut, took an appointment for 2PM. We decided on which car we have to buy as we looked that car on their website. We went there travelling all the way from CT. We also carried a address proof verification which is our electricity bill, 2 forms of ID just in case if they ask during financial loan. We thought we will come back with the car. When we went there no one greeted we were standing for 10 minutes while so many other sales men were sitting at their desks staring at us not even asking us if we need any help. Then later one woman asked us if we were being helped and when we said "No" she assigned us to a sales man called Syeed. Then we told him which car we want by showing it in our phone. He says "This car is in the warehouse and not here and to come back tomorrow" after he knows we drove all the way from CT. THen we asked him if you have any other cars in that price and he showed us another car with a higher mileage. We saw a car for 26000 mileage at 15000 dollars and he showed us a car at the same price which is at 44000 mileage which is almost double the mileage. Then my husband showed him the various cars they have on their website which are in 14000 dollars for 26000 mileage. He says all those cars sold out yesterday and the website is not updated. I could not understand how could 20 cars on the website be sold out on 1 day and how irresponsible they are without updating the website. Then we were asking him how much is the financing APR and he says 4.99 where we asked him if there is any less APR. We also told him that we got a BMW for 0.9%APR and our credit rating is good and if he could give any low APR. Then he says why cant you buy a BMW rather than Honda. I don't understand why he wants to decide our choice. He giving us choices instead of showing his cars which I felt very unprofessional. He knows that we came all the way from CT wasting GAS and tolls and did not give us an encouragement to buy a car. Finally we felt their website is fraud and what ever they are mentioning in the site are fraud and they are just mentioning like that to attract customers. Especially Syeed is been very unprofessional and I would recommend not to go to this sales person again. I will never ever go to this showroom again and I will not recommend anyone again. This showroom is only for people who have bad credit to build up their credit but people who have good credit and can afford to buy a car this is not the showroom at all. VERY BAD VERY BAD VERY BAD.
