Park Ave BMW responded

We just opened our brand new service center 2 weeks ago and our automatic door openers were preset to operate 6 days a week. With all the excitement of the new facility opening we didn't realize that even if we were closed on Memorial day the doors were still going to open if someone pulled up in front of them. Our service department is normally closed on legal holidays however we did advertise on our website that we were open on Memorial Day with special savings but should have stated that it was sales only. Unfortunately this customer ended up in our indoor service drive while we were closed and was clearly very upset by the ordeal. During our conversation she mentioned she was having a bad weekend because someone keyed her car on Friday. The fact that this happened to her and she still took the time to inform us that our service drive was unlocked I decided to offered to help her with getting her car repaired. My intentions were to bring the car to one of our body shops shops deal with the insurance company and give some financial assistance towards the repair or deductible. As stated in her review she would like us to pay for the entire repair of her car which had nothing to do with us. Our offer still stands we would be happy to contribute some financial consideration towards the repair if allowed to do so but we will not pay for the entire repair.
