The overall experience was great until we were told that our vehicle had arrived at the Midlothian, TX new vehicle lot. We were given a date range of when the vehicle should arrive by truck to the dealersh our vehicle had arrived at the Midlothian, TX new vehicle lot. We were given a date range of when the vehicle should arrive by truck to the dealership, but that date slipped then another date slipped. Then we were told that the railroad transport car had broken down and by then our overall experience was in decline even though the delay was not the fault of the dealership. Some suggestions were to improve tracking of a vehicle on order and improve communication with the transport company and possibly switching to another transport company if improvements are not made. The poor transport service was frustrating to both the dealership and the customer. Our sales representative, Ming Yang, was very professional. He answered all of our questions and always with a smile. He did a great job keeping us informed while were anxiously waiting for the delivery of our new vehicle. We just love our Lexus! Smile. I was looking to trade-in my Corolla and get some entry level car in premium brand or affordable convertible. I have already driven BMW and Mini and wasn't interested in that. I had narrowed down to Lexus level car in premium brand or affordable convertible. I have already driven BMW and Mini and wasn't interested in that. I had narrowed down to Lexus CT200h and IS250. My other option was Mazda Mx 5 but wasn't thrilled about buying Mazda but the convertible won some points. Based on dealership ratings I didn't want to step in to Mazda before I tried Lexus cars. I selected Park place grapevine based on reviews on Google and Dealerrater and the fact that it was very close to my house. I liked IS250 but wasn't comfortable with the seats. CT200h seats were extremely comfortable and although not as peppy as 250, it was definitely a good car for daily commute. Shawn Merecki took us on a test drive for CT200h. He was extremely professional and courteous throughout the drive. I selected the 2012 CT200h based on incentives. He gave me some rough numbers to think about. Initially, I didn't like the numbers and emailed him my feedback. He immediately worked with the manager to get to the numbers I like and made sure my whole experience was hassle free. On the day I picked up my car he let us test drive one more time just to make sure I had the right car and all the paper work was ready. I was out of the dealership in under an hour. Even after our finalizing our sales, Shawn made sure our experience was great and followed up with phone calls. Any time I had a concern, I talked directly to Shawn and he responded to all my emails and voicemails. Usually once the deal is over, sales people tend to move on but Shawn did an exceptional job and continues to do so. He even called us to let us know the plates for our car are ready. I highly recommend Shawn at Park Place Grapevine if you are looking for a courteous, no-pressure buying experience. This being my first hybrid I talked to some service people to make sure the engine noises were normal. Even the service experience at Park place was great. More
