Bought 2017 Lexus RX350 and prepaid maintenance from Park Place Lexus, had 25,000 mile checkup and needed new tires, tires were rated for 60,000 miles. Got new tires on my own, they discovered problems with front end alignment. Left messages for five different employees in service department to call me back about the issue. No one returned my call. Thanks to Richard Russell and the service mangers Eric, John, Brian and Brian we will no longer do any business with Park Place Lexus.

This was our best car buying experience ever. Dean McCaskill was extremely professional. We made an appointment to meet with him and look at several different models. He had them ready to go and was knowledgeable and well prepared for our visit, demonstrating all the various features and answering all our questions. Even after our initial visit, Dean was thoroughly responsive to all our questions and responded even when he was not at work. When we came in for our final decisions and negotiations, Dean did not play games. He laid everything out and we were able to easily and quickly get to a mutually agreeable price. Even after the purchase, Dean spent over an hour with us going over all the features again and helping us set up all the various user settings. Dean is pleasant and easy to deal with. We will be referring all our friends to Park Place Lexus and to Dean and plan to go back to him when we need another car.

Not sure what to think. I thought the world of this place for many years, have been very loyal and bought many cars from them. Sales is good but my issue is with service. I bought a used car for the first time since it was a third car and was told it was a fantastic deal. It was great for a few months then my son started driving it. I don’t use all the features but he does and he noticed the cruise control wasn’t working. We asked them to check it out at the next service. They then gave the car back saying the cruise was working as it should. I got back and my son checked and again it has the same problem. I was told to take it in again so I did. Then after a day I was told that it had the wrong bumper and logo and so the radar cruise control wouldn’t work with it. Ummmm...then WHY was I told it was “working as it should”?? Not only this but I found out the car had many third party parts put in that I was not told about. I took the risk of buying a used one so I could have swallowed that but having the service department lie to me that it worked as it should is what really alarmed me. The service department manager was quite gruff with me when I wanted an answer and basically laughed in my face when I said that kind of thing is a safety concern. I talked to the owner too. He was nice enough on the phone but when I told him that I never got a proper response about why I was lied to. He did get the service manager to call me back and he proceeded to just say they were really busy and they must have just mistakenly said that. That’s their response?? I’m sure the owner just told him to tell me something to back off. I didn’t bother to pursue it but honestly I think that was very crappy, irresponsible and dangerous. I can never trust them again. They should have shown way more concern for such a big mistake Instead of basically shoo-ing me away. Very disappointing for such a large company.

Dean was exceptional in Customer Service. He went above and beyond to help us during our visit. We were particularly upset about the Assistant Service Manager Rolland Ismert who was very rude and slightly disrespectful for our service appointment. We expressed our disappointment to Dean for the less than expected customer service we received from Rolland Ismert. Dean McCaskill accommodate us as far as coming early to pick up the car. He went above and beyond to explain to me some details about the car which I was not aware of since I have the car for 1 year now. We were so upset by Mr Rolland Ismert bad customer service that we were considering moving to a different company. Fortunately, Dean exceptional Customer Service make us rethink our decision. I would highly recommend him as Sales representative.

Our buying process with Park Place Plano was AMAZING but the service department has always been a problem. I’ve constantly had problems with the alignment on my GX and the service department has never been able to figure it out. Today I got a call at 9:00am that they were finishing up my oil change and it would be ready in about an hour after they wash it. I received a call at 12:00 confirming it was ready to be picked up. When I got there, they pulled my car around and it was filthy. The writing was still all over the windows and it clearly had not been washed. It was extremely unprofessional and tacky.

I’m being generous when I give them 1 star. Servicing your vehicle is the worst at this dealership. How could they be ok with all these poor reviews and ratings? I scheduled my service over the phone and all the person wanted to do was get me off the phone instead of helping me with my concern. I called back to speak with a manager who didn’t assure me that he will look into this matter but instead just apologized. Dont you want to make efforts to improve the team? My service Representative was horrid too. I am supposed to receive an email for me to pay online and schedule a pick up but I didn’t. I tried texting Rolland multiple times with no response. When I finally just went there, he told me he was too busy to respond. Hahaha! Nice service Lexus. I will never buy a Lexus ever again just so I can avoid these idiots.

"Dishonest, Deceitful, unprofessional"

I took my car for an antifreeze leak from under the car. They told me that it was due to the water pump and timing belt failure. However, after spending $1100.00 the problem was still there. I took the car to another shop and they looked at it and sent me pictures that it is from the radiator and there is calcification to prove it. They also recommended that I should replace my front axles which would cost another $1600 but I postponed it and checked it with the other shop. They also took a picture and told me that it is not needed. Once I got the car back there were a lot of scratches and a dent on the bumper that they said it must have been there before, despite the fact that they always check the car all the way around when you drop them off. I would recommend to get another opinion before dropping off your car for repairs. This has happened to me twice that I am aware of.
