He is extremely helpful, answered my questions, provided options and I was able to order my vehicle according to my specs and the de dealer in Plano. He kept me up to date, and when the car was near we worked out the trade in and he helped me get a better price than first offered though not up to where I really wanted to be but he did his best. I had been searching, specifically, for a 2011 ML550, when JUST the vehicle I was interested in, showed up on the internet. I live in Houston and ML550's seem to move quickly when they appear on the mar when JUST the vehicle I was interested in, showed up on the internet. I live in Houston and ML550's seem to move quickly when they appear on the market, so I immediately called Park Place Motorcars to follow up on the add. Nedd Ross took my call and my first impressions of both the dealership and Nedd were a result of our early telephone conversations concerning the ML and it's condition, my trade, it's value, the logistics of a long-distance deal, etc. As is my nature, I was skeptical and expected that, upon my arrival in Dallas, some part of "the deal" would get changed,... the ML might not measure up to Nedd's initial assessment of it's condition, or my car's trade-in value would be lowered, or some kind of paper-work snafu would erupt,... that's how it always works, right? Especially on "long distance" deals, "they know they got ya!", as my father used to say. Well,... I need not have worried, none of that happened! I could go on and on about my great experience with Park Place Motorcars and specifically, Nedd Ross, but I'll just give you the bullet-points: 1) from the moment I met Nedd I liked his open, pleasant style. He valued my time, extended every courtesy, and honored my integrity by demonstrating his own; 2) the ML was EXACTLY as he had described it, over the phone,... it was lovely, beautifully prepped, even drew the attention of another customer who thought it was new(!); 3) the value of my trade-in, which we had established over the phone, was honored in full, which struck me as most 'gentlemanly' and honorable,... my faith in Nedd's integrity soared; 4) Nedd's enthusiasm for Mercedes and his knowledge of the product, while obvious, don't do him complete justice,... it's more his style and overall approach, which, in my estimation, fits very naturally with the quality of the product he sells,... I came to the conclusion that Nedd sells 'tradition' as much as he sells cars, which may not adequately express my thoughts, here, but I hope so, because therein resides the essence of my experience with Park Place and Nedd Ross,.. solid, honest, and equitable; 5) Even the way in which Nedd presented me the keys to our "new" ML, brought a smile,... it wasn't so much a 'ceremony', but it was with "a florish",... I was as excited over those keys as I was about the car! (Okay, to be honest, the Mercedes 'keys' and the attached key fobs had a jewel-like quality to them that I knew would impress my wife, for whom I was purchasing the car, but who had not been able to accompany me on the trip to Dallas,... I was right, she thought they were "a little blingy, but cute", which is high praise, believe me,... just one more of the little things that made this experience so much fun); 5) Nedd, his assistant, Michael, and the finance guy, Tony, all conspired to give me the impression of a genuinely professional group of people intent upon offering value, service, and competence in a very friendly, open, but highly professional manner,... reminded me of one of my old boss' definitions of 'a professional',... like a duck in the water, no ripples, just calm and serene on the surface, but paddling like xxxx, underneath. I had a 2 o'clock appointment with Matt. When I arrived Matt was busy but introduced me to Mark and told me Mark would be able to assist me. I felt that he was being honest on giving me the best deal that he felt I could get.
