I hope Honda can go to the model followed by Parker Johnstone's. The reason I say this is because all info is available on Internet with regards to MSRP, Invoice and TMV. I see no point in wasting time in unnecessary haggling on prices that can be verified on the Internet. These days most people can get this info instantaneously on their smart phones. The service is excellent, I had good experience last year but could not purchase as something came up in the last minute and that's why I made up my mind to come back this year to purchase. I would definitely recommend anyone interested in buying to your dealership. Please keep up the good work. If you could take it one step further, I would say have some vehicles with no accessories so people will be even more attracted. Psychologically when they get to your dealership I think they will end up buying the vehicle with critical accessories anyways in Oregon, also then the buyer feels they have a choice and the dealership is being honest. With most Honda Dealers in the area what's happening is that they tell you the base price to attract the customer to visit their dealership and then the car is not available (this is definitely a wrong way to start, as the customer already feels they are cheated even if they can easily afford the extra $600 dollars over a period of 60 months). With so much information out there your dealership approach is the best! Your salesperson was Excellent, I would give him full points. Also another strategy I would say is that if you guys are selling at TMV or below anyways print out Edmunds eval. and show the customer upfront at that point they will just go ahead and buy (if they were planning to buy). I had been looking for six weeks, fully expecting that the 2014 models were my only option. I called Wilsonville Honda and got Luis Chanchola on the phone. He was so professional in his demeanor and source information. He emailed me the info I needed, including an amazingly low price. I called back ten minutes later and confirmed that I wanted to purchase the car and would drive over the next day, Friday. to take delivery. Luis introduced me to Nichole Friswold. She did an outstanding job organizing all of the "details" for delivery, then showed me the basics of operating the vehicle and beginning an ongoing process of using the computer enhanced options. As I was completing the financial paperwork with Shannon Beasley, Mr. Parker Johnstone interrupted briefly, to award Shannon the Employee of the Week Award. What a treat to know I have the privilege of association with a most PROFESSIONAL car dealership. I will most assuredly refer my friends and associates to Wilsonville Honda ! By the way... I got 32.8 MPG on my ride back to central Oregon... sweet ! More
