The sales dept will not work with simple numbers with you when trying to negotiate a trade and work a deal on a vehicle. They will always revert to typical shady car dealer tactics to make you think you are getting a better deal than you really are. We made several attempts to make an offer on a vehicle only to be asked, "Well where did you get that number from!?" They would not even have the courtesy to simply make a counter offer as they kept playing the trade in value game to get the vehicle price at the highest blue book value and the trade in at the lowest possible value.
