Surprisingly pleasant experience I've always hated the whole car shopping process. Jeff Ford made it surprisingly pleasant. He really took the time to find the right car for my needs. I had been wanting to upgrade m Short Review (Summary): Top notch dealership.. No Pressure.. Quick.. EASY!!! Full Review: Top NOTCH Dealership!!! I had been wanting to upgrade my KIA Forte for a while.. I sent in a request about 3 months ago online after viewing a few models I was interested in.. Steven emailed and called within a few minutes. At this point I was still researching so I never returned the calls.. He emailed once or twice a week and maybe called once a week to see if I was still interested.. His sales Manger (Justin) also called and emailed maybe once a month.. Nothing pushy and not like most dealerships (Rusty Wallace Kia has been calling 5 times a day and texting!!).. I was happy about this because I was still researching what I wanted in a car, and didn't really want to be hounded!! FINALLY I found the Niros!! After about a month of research of the Niro I finally replied one of Stevens emails (Ignored the other dealerships bc they had called way to much!).. I told him my situation (Stilled owed on my Forte) and told him what payments I could afford.. I thought the Niro LX would be pushing my budget so I had my hopes for a FE.. (FE was about $3000 cheaper at the time of my visit). BUT they where able to make the LX fit in my budget!! Steven said it was the lowest he had ever seen them sale a Niro LX for and I believe him! WHY?? Because they had me in a Niro LX for less than ANY OF THE RECENT TRUECAR postings!!! Even with them having to pay my car off, I was still in it for about factory MSRP!!! (This included my car payoff on the invoice) Again, he was never pushy about ANYTHING during the entire process! All in all, I decided to deal with Parkside Kia because of this! I have been to their lot several times and walked around.. Just say "I'm looking" and they never bother me.. I never saw Steven during any of my visits because he is the internet guy so probably not out front much, but the others also left me alone.. Today I saw 5 families just walking around and no one was bothering them.. This is how car buying should be.. In the internet age, people can research online.. All the really need the dealership for and the salesman is to test-drive and finalize the process.. And maybe to just see the cars in person before they decide on what they want.. This allows THE BUYER to make up their mind and not a employee to convince you and make up your mind for you. This is what Parkside kia does! They let the buyer buy and not the seller convince you I made my initial appointment for Friday.. Due to some events that happened, I couldn't make it.. Maybe 3 or 4 hours after the appointment I received an email asking if I was still interested and wanted to reschedule.. I didn't receive a "WHY DID YOU MISS", "WHY ARE YOU WASTING OUR TIME", "DO YOU REALLY WANT THIS CAR".. I received an email that simply said, "Sorry I missed you.. Would you still like to come in today or tomorrow?" So I went Sat at 10:45.. I was out of there before 1! New car and all.. Very simple and quick process! Financing Note: Like all my past cars I went in with Financing IN HAND (From my current car loan company).. Parkside Kia was able to BEAT my current APR, not by a lot, but by enough to bring the payment into my budget!! Even had the option to not make a payment for 3 months (I declined that option, I wanted to start paying ASAP to not get upside down as badly).. I was able to add GAP insurance and keep the payment exactly the same as quoted from my current company.. Being a Hybrid I did elect the GAP Insurance because they do seem to lose value much quicker. Gary in the financing department really cares!! If you are younger like me, he will treat you like your parent to help you make the right decisions! Overall: I got into my Niro LX for less than all the area TrueCar prices, and had no issues with financing or anything.. Was in and out super fast!! The slowest part of the entire process was the testdrive (No issues here) and me cleaning out my old Kia! More

I had sought offers from dozens of dealerships across the state and he was really the only one who provided me with the information I needed to make an informed decision concerning a vehicle I was buying for my son and daughter in law, making it clear that he wanted to earn my business. By the time we visited the dealership, I had pretty much decided I was going to give him every opportunity to sell me a car. Once we were at the dealership, his easy-going, pressure-free manner convinced me that I was making the right choice. He even took the time after the sale was complete to go over all of the car's features and technology with my son before we left. I cannot recall anyone ever doing that before. More
