Fast and Easy My Experience with Parkside Kia was AMAZING. It all started on Carfax.com I was looking for a vehicle that will fit my needs but on a affordable budge My Experience with Parkside Kia was AMAZING. It all started on Carfax.com I was looking for a vehicle that will fit my needs but on a affordable budget. I first sent them an email from the website about a vehicle I was interested in and one of the car salesmen (Matt Warner) replied the next day. Matt contacts me about information that he will need from me so he can help get the vehicle That I was interested in so I did but I was hesitant And worry about getting my hopes up for a vehicle I wasn't probably going to get at ALL! So I decided not to do anything after I gaved him my information. So days past, then two weeks later. On a Friday in April, Matt contacts me about the vehicle again and asks me about more information so I can get APPROVE on the vehicle and I decided to go ahead and take a risk and just see if I can get a vehicle so I talked to him and the next day He told me "I have got Get news you got approved on the Elantra. (The Vehicle I wanted!) so we schedule a day and time (which it was the next day, Saturday) so I ask my mom if she can take me there and she did. So we go on Saturday and I was trying to get my hard earn savings out of my bank but couldn't get all of it (cause it was on a Saturday) on the way there I asked Matt about the amount on money I was bringing and he said "alright we will see what we can do" I said "okay" then when I got there I asked For Matt Warner he greeted us and then we went to go look at the car and he told me about it and told me to get in the vehicle and then I got to test drove it. (The test drive was AMAZING but I was still hesitant but excited at the sametime) and after I test drove it. we went inside and did paperwork. And then to the financial office and did more paperwork. (While we were doing paperwork, my vehicle was getting ready to be drove home.)after the paperwork was done my mom had some questions about some vehicles she was interested in and we asked Matt about it and Matt showed her some vehicles and let her test drove one that she liked but after she drove it she wasn't sure about the vehicle she had drove. So we went back inside after we had drove the vehicle she had drove my mom and couple of the salesman including Matt talk about what they can do help her get the vehicle and they said take it home for the weekend and bring it back Monday. Me and my mom were in shock couldn't believe it and we Thanked them for it. After that we were on our way home with not just one but two vehicles on that day. On Monday she brought the vehicle back and decided to not get the vehicle and to just wait and find the vehicle she needed. Overall, THIS has been the BEST decision/risk I've made. (Matt has made this Whole process easy for me. I want to thank him for not giving up on me and apologizing for making him wait for me but SO SO thankful for him for holding on to the vehicle I wanted for almost 2 or 3 weeks. I also want to thank them for allowing my mom borrow the vehicle she liked for the weekend. We also want to thank everyone who help us from start to finish. Still no plate for the vehicle. 2011 Nissan Xterra Salesman: Matt Warner was professional. I was able to schedule a test drive quickly and he made sure the vehicle was on site before I made the trip. Like most big dealerships, you will get the "what can we do to get you in this car today" pitch, but I was insistent on taking the vehicle for a private inspection and have time for my own insurance agent to do a back ground search. The manager was a little hesitant, but relented to me taking the vehicle overnight. I am glad I did, because the "clean carfax" didn't show the damage reported by the previous owners insurance company. Luckily it was some paint work done to the doors, so that wasn't a deal breaker. Sidenote: Never trust a carfax, they are a private company who essentially work based off of information provided to them by dealers. If a car is fixed by a private mechanic, even through insurance, it probably won't show up. My insurance agent was able to run the Vin and tell me things that weren't on the carfax. Again, Matt was great, and the sales manager who wanted to step into the negotiation process was a little more pushy, which is expected. Deal: I was able to make the purchase and reach terms that suited both parties, and the finance department did a great job of getting through all of the paperwork in a timely fashion. My only complaint is that it has been nearly two months and I have yet to receive the plate for the vehicle. Considering the $500 doc fee, I expected it to arrive in a timely manner. When I called the receptionist to see about speaking to someone, I was placed on hold. After a minute, she hung up on me. I called right back and was told that the person I would need to talk to had gone home for the day... so I guess I didn't need to know that information before she hung up. More
