Talked to Spike on the phone & asked him about the ad on their website. He said come by & he'd give me the best deal. So I came & waited for him for a while. Told him that I was looking for 2009 Camry LE their website. He said come by & he'd give me the best deal. So I came & waited for him for a while. Told him that I was looking for 2009 Camry LE & what my budget was. He said the ad $17,999 for the Camry LE was just for the base but they didn't have anything like that. All the 2009 Camry LE are red with options that I have to pay extra. He said "why don't you get 2010 for a little more" but I told him that my budget was under $20k. I told him that I want to trade in my clunker & he told me that he's not sure if the government pays for that. He said the government hasn't paid them yet on the clunkers so we went back & forth on the price. He said that I was wasting his time & my time because he had customers waiting for him. When I was in his office dealing for the car he stepped out & talked to other customers & left me waiting again & again. So when I picked out the car that I wanted, I told him if he could reduce the price, he said he'd have to talk to his manager. So he came back with the price $100 less than the previous price, I told him that was still over my budget. He said "if you don't like the price, then why don't we part ways" I told him that I wanted to buy that car but he didn't seem to care & didn't want to sell me that car. So I said "are you gonna let me walk out with only $200 difference?" He didn't say anything so I walked out & left. I'll never come back to that place again. More
I had very good experience with this dealer i will strongly recommend him i bought my 09 highlander, I went through SamsClub they gave me Spike as my contact person. I wont say same with Finance department they try to sell me some extra stuff which is very easy to say no and move on. More
I had been to a couple of dealers in my search for a New 2009 Toyota Camry. I had fallen victim to Toyota of Richardson and Toyota of Dallas and their pricing lies. I was told by both dealerships that the advertised price on the Camry of $15,995 was for a brand new Camry automatic and a LE. When I go to the dealership I found that it was a preowned or a manual transmission and on top of this they didnt even have the advertised car in stock. All Lies. I then went to Pat Lobb Toyota of McKinney and was greeted quick and professionally by Josh Barnett. He brought me inside and set down with me for 20 minutes and asked me what I was looking for and what options and colors I was interested in. After narrowing down the options and color he told me that he would find me the least expensive Camry that fit my needs. Also he went out and brought the car to the front door for me and I didnt have to walk the dealership to find my car. He never asked me my credit rating or to have my SSN before we found the perfect vehicle. He was only interested in my wants and needs first. After we found my perfect Camry we came back inside to discuss figures. He made this part so quick and easy. He showed me 3 different options and was not pushy or agressive just informative. I picked that option that best suited my budget which ended up being a lease. Great service and great honest dealings. After numbers were agreed upon I was in Finance before I knew it and was treated professionally and was given options on warranties and stuff like that. Never felt pushed. By the time I was out of finance Josh had my Camry ready, cleaned and with a full tank of gas. The whole process took 56 minutes from when I cam in to when I was out of Finance. I have to say that I was impressed. No pushing and great service. Josh then went over the Camry with me until all of my questions were answered and then gave me a copy of his card. He told me to call him anytime for any questions. I will be going to Josh Barnett for all purchases after this. More
