We ultimately got into a better vehicle than we expected at a price that we could afford. We quickly reached a satisfactory agreement and when picking up the Outback, Joe was also helpful in showing the different aspects and features of the Outback, and it was pleasant as we never felt rushed or pressured in any way, even in the rain. The Worst Experience I've Ever Had at a Dealership Please don't waste your time with Patrick Subaru. Go to a dealership that actually values you business. I had been searching for a manual transmission Please don't waste your time with Patrick Subaru. Go to a dealership that actually values you business. I had been searching for a manual transmission and spoke with them for over a week about a car I found online. I traveled from Vermont to Mass (3.5 hours, one way) only to be told the car I had an appointment to test drive had just been sold. They knew I was serious about the car and was coming to test drive as a formality before purchasing. They had even confirmed my appointment while I was en route. They were not apologetic, and made no attempt to find a solution. I had asked about putting a deposit down a few days before the test drive and I was told "We don't do that". Once I was at the dealership and found out the car had been sold, they told me they would've taken a deposit, but only 24 hours in advance. This information would've been very helpful if it hasn't been given to me after the fact. The man at the customer service desk offered me a halfhearted, "Wow, that sucks" but I never received an apology and they never made another attempt to contact me after that day (prior to that visit they had been emailing me once or twice a day). I was treated as an inconvenience, which is not what any customer should be made to feel, especially when they are going to be making a large purchase. More
