When it should have arrived we received a call saying it had been struck by lightning and totaled at the port facility in Providence. They had a similar vehicle coming in and we were able to get that one with all the options we wanted, and a few we didn't want. We are pleased with the car and feel we got a decent deal overall. More

First time buying a car and this was a great experience! Okay so. I'm 32 years old and I've actually never bought a car on my own. The car I was driving was a car I shared with my ex--so while it was mine, it never really felt like MINE. I had been thinking for a little while that it might be time for me to start fresh. I knew I wanted a Subaru Impreza but I wasn't sure if I should lease new, or buy used--I'd done plenty of research but hadn't actually gone to look. I didn't mean to walk into Patrick Subaru that day a couple weeks ago; we happened to be in the area and we saw that there was a Subaru dealership nearby so we decided to pop in...just to look. Famous last words, I know. I was EXTREMELY intimidated walking into a dealership, admittedly I had some preconceived notions about car salespeople and high pressure sales tactics etc. I had every intention of just going to kick some tires and gather some info. 4 Hours and a test drive later, I was signing the paper work on a lease for a new Subaru Impreza Sport. Joe D was great. He was extremely knowledgable, was very up front with all the information and was quite funny and fun to work with. I told him I wasn't sure if I should buy used or lease new. He asked me a few questions about my lifestyle, my work--and he encouraged me to go for a lease rather than a purchase. Obviously Joe's job is to sell cars--but I really did feel like he cared about making sure I was in the right vehicle, for the right price. I told him when I walked in which car I was interested in, and what my target price range was. He put me in exactly the car I was after, for the middle of my price range. I so appreciate that he didn't try to upsell me into a car I didn't want for a price that was over my budget. Really, the only thing Joe had to SELL me on--was just to go for it. I kept saying I'm not ready I'm not ready--but what does ready even mean anyway. I said goodbye to my Honda Civic and two days later we picked up my new ride. And I love it. Maybe I wasn't quite ready to buy the car that day, but I have it now and I'm SO thrilled. It feels silly that buying a car could be such an emotional experience but it honestly was--and Joe and the team at Patrick were very understanding of that and they patiently answered all of my questions and gave me plenty of time to think and talk it through with my boyfriend who was with me. I never felt pressured to buy something I didn't want. They just gave me the nudge to go for it. Thank you Joe D. and the team at Patrick for making my first car buying experience so positive and rewarding! More

As it's not something I enjoy doing, car buying is something I just want to be done with before I even begin. I knew it was time for a trade-in and I had done a bit of research. (Yes I know...a little knowledge is a dangerous thing!) I walked into our local Subaru dealership and stated that today was the day that I was buying my new car. I knew what I wanted and it shouldn't have taken long. I just needed a reasonable price for the new car and a reasonable price for my trade in. Hours later, I was annoyed and insulted and exhausted from their negotiations and sales manner and I walked out. But thank you local dealership for being so horrible because driving to Shrewsbury and meeting Joe Domenicucci was a fabulous experience! He's bright, knowledgeable, listens well, presents the information logically and negotiates fairly and respectfully. Patrick Subaru and Joe D. get gold stars! There is nothing they could have done better! More
For me, truly life changing experience I sent an email and got a very fast, pleasant response from Colleen. She listened to me and was able to connect me with Luke, who changed my life. I am in a wheelchair and was almost completely housebound because I couldn't get in or out of my vehicle. I also have a family and service dog. There was not enough room. I met with Luke and explained my situation. He listened to everything I said. He then immediately worked with me to find financing, with Rob's help, and the perfect car. He went way above and beyond. He made calls and worked with other departments to help. He measured my old car, my wheelchair, and any cars he showed me, to ensure I could transfer easily. He worked to have a hitch put on the new car so that my wheelchair carrier could be attached. I am no longer housebound. My family and I can now go out together and my daughter can have friends with her. I can easily transfer myself from my chair to the car. And when I need help, it is,no problem for others due to Luke's measuring. Luke truly changed my life and I can not say thanks enough. I know other people pulled together to make this possible. But if Luke had not listened and treated me like every car dealer I had contacted prior, it wouldn't even have gone to those other people. Luke is unlike ANY car dealer I have ever met. He showed compassion and caring. He was a human being trying to help another. If and when I need another car, he is our guy. Please, if you need a car, go see Luke and tell him Nicole sent you. He ROCKS!!!! More

They didn't argue with me or pressure me to buy anything. Jeff Moberg gave me his business card and the information for the Legacy and told me he would be available if I didn't find what I was looking for elsewhere. After going to every other dealership that had a comparable mid sized sedan I was stressed and tired of being pressured by salesmen that didn't listen to anything I had to say. I called Jeff back, agreed on a price and I drove back down and signed the papers. It couldn't have been any easier. I wish I hadn't wasted my whole day and just stuck with Jeff and Patrick Subaru from the get go. Get Dealership from sales staff to management. More
