I recently purchased a 2013 Outback and had a wonderful experience from the start. I can't say enough about how wonderful Luke was to deal with, even beyond the point of sale. experience from the start. I can't say enough about how wonderful Luke was to deal with, even beyond the point of sale. More
My wife and I purchased our first Subaru about 3.5 years ago.... a 2005 Subaru Outback Limited 2.5i. We were looking for a specific package and color in a used vehicle, and after shopping several dealers lo ago.... a 2005 Subaru Outback Limited 2.5i. We were looking for a specific package and color in a used vehicle, and after shopping several dealers looking for what we wanted, Justin Beauregard who was our sales rep at the time called us with the exact vehicle specs we were looking for. After seeing it, we purchased and our sales experience was unbelievably smooth. Especially after having a somewhat less than stellar sales experience at another local Subaru Dealership. During the 3.5 years I quickly learned why those who drive Subaru's swear by them. The car was literally the most solid vehicle I have driven. The perfect blend between European build quality (very solid build) and Asian Car Reliability. Not to mention the performance in the New England weatherscape, etc. We loved our 05' however I was starting to get annoyed at the 05' based technology standard in the vehicle and started getting tired of burning CDs for the integrated Stereo/Climate Controls. And since I couldn't upgrade the stereo, it was even more frustrating. I have always loved the improved design of the Gen 4 Outback and the improvements made in 2013 to the model along with the safety technology in "Eyesight" made me really want the "upgrade" even more. So off to Patrick last week we went, I of course did some initial research on what I wanted and color combo/packages etc, and from walking in the door and looking at the exact vehicle on the lot we wanted to purchase, Nate Goodro was FANTASTIC. Very knowledgable on Subaru and very honest about Subaru's design intent and philosophy. For example, Subaru doesn't just add features to a car for the sake of adding features. They make sure when they add the features there is an exact purpose and valid need/use for the technology. This is something I greatly appreciate about Subaru. Now on price, Patrick blew me away. Like I had said I had done research on price and trade-in, and on the very first offer Patrick presented us with, they were spot on! I was impressed. Deal was done in minutes with no hassle. If I had to say something that would be an item to improve upon, but may not apply to everybody is, I would have loved to have an "STI type" package offered on the Outback. Some of us drivers out there, like the Utility the Outback has, but also like the design elements of a much sportier car, like the WRX STI, or BRZ. So maybe the ability to offer more STI type packages on the outback would be welcome in my book! These are little things, but hey I had to find something to improve upon! I have been taking my Subaru for ALL maintenance and service to Patrick and will continue to do so with this new Outback! Thanks Patrick Subaru! Customer Service is key, don't forget that! More

You were patient in explaining all of the car's features and I could tell that you wanted to make sure I got the car that I wanted and I did! Thank you for your time and energy. I really appreciated it! Mary Ann Bedick More
I was on the hunt for a used Forester when Frank greeted us in the used car area of Patrick. He quickly assessed that all of the models were 2010 or older, and we were looking for a 2011 or newer with Blue us in the used car area of Patrick. He quickly assessed that all of the models were 2010 or older, and we were looking for a 2011 or newer with Bluetooth features. We looked at a few other options, including the hot new Crosstrek, but ultimately decided that the price he was offering on a brand new car (my first ever!) was a better deal than MetroWest Subaru was offering on a used 2011 Forester, and that it had everything we were looking for in a car. We have an active lifestyle, so the trunk space and all wheel drive is perfect for all-season sports and activities, and with kids, the Bluetooth calling capability and i-pod features are perfect for our family fun. Frank was up-front with us-smart dealers know that the customer has access to online tools to compare offers these days (and as we negotiated, I was checking my KBB app to make sure his offer was in line with the going rate). We walked away feeling like we got a really great deal on a new car, and the process was actually enjoyable. I'm a tough negotiator, and I felt like both the dealer and I walked away happy. Truth be told, the car wasn't even on the lot, it was still on a boat! So I felt like Frank went above and beyond to find me what I wanted, in the color I wanted, and then kept in good communication with me about the arrival date of the car. We had all of the finances, paperwork, and insurance worked out so that as soon as the car came in I could take it home (with 6 miles on the odo!). Patrick's checklist helped me prepare in advance for what could be a complicated process, but it wasn't. When I picked up the car, Frank went through the manuals in great detail, explaining new features I might not be familiar with (given that we have an older Outback already). Then, we went to the car and walked through various buttons, etc. and also set up some speed dial numbers from my phone. Overall, I was beyond pleased with my experience at Patrick and with Frank. I've shopped at 2 other regional Subaru dealers in the MetroWest and Stoughton areas, and I have not been impressed. And as a woman, I felt like Frank treated me (not my husband) as the customer, and with genuine respect. Even though Patrick is 19 miles away from my home on the Natick/Framingham line, I'll go there for service over the dealer that is just a few miles away. More
Preface: I'm a long-time customer of this dealership. Preface: I'm a long-time customer of this dealership. Background: I recently had to give up the Impreza I bought from Jim Patrick and Bob Lacr Preface: I'm a long-time customer of this dealership. Background: I recently had to give up the Impreza I bought from Jim Patrick and Bob Lacrosse all those years ago back at the Water St. location. It was just time after 13+ years. She finally needed a new transmission after 353,000+ miles of outstanding service to me, so I ended up getting the only car that could replace her- same exact car but only 57,000 miles- sadly from another dealership but only because it was a stroke of luck to even find such a vehicle. This review concerns the service I choose to continue receiving from Patrick Subaru. Most recent visit: I had to bring in my car last week for a 60,000 mile service. As it was planned a week in advance and knowing I couldn't wait in the waiting room this time, Elvis got me into a new car rental expeditiously. Off to work I went with the understanding that he would be in touch to let me know when she was ready for pickup and with any findings if need be. Turns out the mechanics were very thorough as usual and noticed an inner CV Boot had a tear in it. Because Elvis did a great job of explaining what the part's function is, what realistically could happen if left as is, and the exact cost of its replacement, I was able to make an informed decision on how to have them proceed. When I came later to pickup the car, Elvis was there to walk me through the details of the service that had been performed, closeout with the cashier, and let me know he would check with me the next day to make sure everything was running well. He indeed kept that promise. I had forgotten about the concerns that I was told were serious issues by another mechanic when I initially had to get the car inspected for registration. I voiced those concerns to Elvis as well as ones I had been told to look out for with a car that age that hadn't been mentioned the previous day. He said he would check with the mechanic who worked on her to see if there was anything that hadn't made it into the checklist comments. He kept that promise as well and let me know that the mechanic did indeed check those concerns and that everything mentioned looks good still. I felt assured that the mechanics there were being straight with me and will let me know of any issues that need to be addressed. Summary: I appreciate receiving personal and personable attention from the same service rep I see initially through to the closeout and follow-up parts of the service transaction. I appreciate that the service reps I deal with keep their promises to me whether it's price, time commitment, or follow-up related. This is why I continue to be a satisfied service customer of Patrick Subaru. More
We went to Patrick Subaru to look at a Legacy sedan we'd seen on autotrader. Phil Sheridan helped us. While the transaction was very straightforward, it was a pleasure dealing with Phil, who was knowledgeab seen on autotrader. Phil Sheridan helped us. I was in the market looking a Subaru Legacy (pre '10 model). I decided to check out the inventory at Patrick Subaru because my family had a car from them and were pleased with their service. Note that t model). I decided to check out the inventory at Patrick Subaru because my family had a car from them and were pleased with their service. Note that this isn't the first dealership that I visited for this car. I called ahead and made an appointment. I met Phil Sheridan. We first sat down and discussed my options, my preferences and so on. He was knowledgeable and answered my questions satisfactorily. I was then taken to look at the inventory. Spent a lot of time checking out the options and then chose a car for the test drive. Phil suggested a good route for the drive that was a mix of city and highway, that would allow me to test all the features. After the drive, I wanted to buy the car if I got a good deal. I asked for the car-fax. Note that they do not use Car-Fax here but some other system. Very similar in details but can be confusing for a first-timer. The car had some minor repairs done, which i would have missed if they hadn't been pointed out by Phil. After some negotiations regarding the price, we had made a deal. They threw in all-weather mats and auto-dimming rearview mirror as part of the deal. Went to pick up the car the next day and finish the paper work. Car was exceptionally clean, just like new. During the paperwork, I was handed off to some other gentleman who handled the money related issues. This was probably the only part in the whole experience I was not comfortable with. I was put in the spot decision about buying an extended warranty from Warrantech (Custom Edge). I did settle for the cheapest option knowing that I can cancel within 2 months if I changed my mind. However, I would have liked it if I weren't put into such a spot. Overall, I liked the experience with Patrick and thank Phil for helping me find an awesome car. I would give them 4 stars for the buying experience - 1 star taken off because of the extended warranty spot decision requirement. Phil did follow up with me and made sure that my car was running as I wanted it. Customer Service - 5 stars. More
