I would not have been so livid with this dealer if they had not given me an outlandishly low offer on my 2003 Ford Expedition. I was going to buy a BMW X3 from them, and they were offering a fair price, an had not given me an outlandishly low offer on my 2003 Ford Expedition. I was going to buy a BMW X3 from them, and they were offering a fair price, and to put on new and better tires. All of which was fine. Then came time to assess my trade. I know as a fact, with mileage of 130,000, my truck is worth 5,375 on Kelley Blue Book, and 6,750 on NADA as a trade in. Patrick Subaru offered me an initial $2,500 for my trade. They came up to 4,000, still a low ball. I was very rash with them, and asking them how they can offer me such a low amount of money for a truck worth significantly more. Even worse, i was given dumb excuses on why the offer was so low. For example, they tried to justify themselves by saying my truck was the XLS, and not XLT trim. If they had any clue whatsoever, they would know that in the 2003 model year (the first year of the new body style) the XLS was nonexistent. Also, after I shut them down on that attempt, they tried to tell me my four wheel drive was clicking, indicating a bad CV Joint. Sorry Patrick Subaru, I had my truck looked at by a mechanic before trying to trade it in to be aware of any mechanical damage there may have been. More

When we went to test drive a new Outback, we spoke to a salesman named Joe Dineen, who took the time to listen and answer questions, but (unlike too many others we have encountered over the years) did not apply undue pressure. We left, talked it over and went back to buy the car. Joe was exceptional in his professionalism and willingness to work with us. I obtained at price guarantee through Truecar.com and Patrick Subaru was willing to match a better pricing guarantee from a associated with the car. I went to Patrick Motors to buy my first new car. I went to other dealerships first, but always left feeling like someone was trying to take me for a ride versus selling me a new car. A couple weeks ago my "check engine" light came on in my 2004 Subaru Forester as I drove home for work. I was leaving the next day for a trip from Worcester to Albany. I did not want to drive a car on in my 2004 Subaru Forester as I drove home for work. I was leaving the next day for a trip from Worcester to Albany. I did not want to drive a car that distance if was prone to problems! I stopped in at Patrick Subaru hoping it was some minor adjustment. To my dismay I had 3 issues, one of them being serious. The folks at Subaru told me that they could take care of the more serious problem while I waited. I decided to leave the car overnight and have all 3 issues taken care of. They had my car back to me the next day in time for my trip. I have noticed in the past few days that when I start my car there has been a screeching sound. On my way to work I stopped in to have it checked. When I drove up a gentleman waved me right into the garage. I explained I did not have an appointment. He took me right in and I was met by Brenda who got me a cup of coffee and a great place to work while I waited. I didn't miss a beat! There I was working on my laptop - in a better office than I have at work! How can you beat that! Thanks for taking care of me, Subaru! More
