After car shopping at four dealerships we decided to try Patrick Motors and Dan was by far the easiest to deal with. He never rushed us through anything and was very thorough. He even spent some time showing our 17 year old son how to drive a standard with the utmost of patience! He never made us feel pressured to purchase the vehicle and in the end made us feel very safe and happy with our choice. Bought a Subaru SVX from the Patrick Brothers. Our experience was exceptional including the service over the next 10 years we had the car. We felt confident driving the 60 plus miles to purchase a car and trading in our 2005 Mini Cooper S. We got a good price for our trade in. We worked with Matt Patrick listing out exacting what wanted. This was in May. Turned out the car we wanted was not in stock anywhere. Matt said our we would have to order a 2016. At that time the order could not even be placed. Volkswagen was not making it easy for its dealers. Matt felt the earliest delivery date would be September. We decided to order and wait. Last Thursday we got a call our car came in. 2016 GTI Autobahn , Performance Package, Lighting Package, Driver Assist Package, DCC , Summer Tires and Red. We already knew the DAP had gone up $800 due to all the extra features added to the package. The added features were easily worth the increase in price. We told Matt it was not a problem. We also expected the discount we were offered for the 2015 would be a lot less for the 2016 but Matt gave us the full discount. We worked with Dan and Dan to finish up. The delivery went smooth, the car was well prepped, Dan took all the time needed to explain to both of us all the features. 23 years later and another great experience. I worked with Dan Heckman, who gave me the basics about buying vs. leasing, and trade-in information the first time I came in. I soon went back for a test drive, but wasn't sure if that car was right for me. I then went and checked out different dealers online, but eventually came back to Patrick Motors because they had what I wanted and the customer service was excellent. I came back on a Sunday when things were quiet and made the deal. Luckily, Dan was in that day because he made things go smoothly and explained every number that needed explaining, and didn't try to nickel-and-dime me with too many options. In the end, the amount I put down for the car was half of what other dealers were asking, and the monthly price for my lease was excellent. He understood my financial needs and tailored the package to meet those needs. He even gave me a ride to the dealership on the day I picked up the car! His salesmanship was exemplary, and gives me a high opinion of Patrick Motors. I would recommend to anyone to just go in and ask questions - they don't pressure you but also don't forget about you after you leave. This was, overall, an amazing experience! More

Stress free experience! I have bought a few used cars previously and have never had an experience like I did at Patrick. When I first went to check out the car I worked with Aaron who was super helpful and answered all of my questions! The rest of the process I worked with Dan Heckman and he was very friendly, knowledgeable and made the boring part of car buying (paper work!) seem fun! He answered every question I asked both in person and over the phone in a timely manner. When I went to go pick up the car I had three children with me and he was super helpful with them, even helping me put the car seats in and making everything go as quickly as possibly to help me out! Once all the kids were in the car, Dan sat with me and went over all the features of the car. He set up the bluetooth stuff for my phone and even programmed the radio stations for me! All and all just an awesome experience and I will 100% return to Patrick Volkswagen in the future! More

True customer service I purchased an Audi from Patrick Motors back in February, recently I had an issue where something went wrong with my brakes. I contacted the dealership and they asked me to bring it in however I was unable to do so, I told them that the car was in the driveway with the key in it. Not only did they come and get the car, make and the repairs and return the car, they did it at no charge! If you are looking to purchase a vehicle I highly recommend Patrick Motors they are great people to deal with and there service is far beyond anything I have ever experienced! More

Stay Away! Third time-Last time! Awful experience upon purchasing my 3rd car from them. Had to go back 2 times before they would make a decent, fair deal. Financ Third time-Last time! Financial person had to re-do my paperwork 3 times due to their lack of communication. Was handed keys and sent on my way with an uninspected and unregistered car of which I paid almost $400 in admin fees for them to do. Called and spoke to my salesman who couldn't even remember my name and was patronized by Matt Patrick who was rude and condescending - beware ladies, he thinks we are all dumb. Had to go back ,missing my daughters birthday dinner for them to fix their mistake since I was driving illegally. Now, 3 weeks later, have not heard from anyone at Patrick Volkswagen to follow up, was offered nothing for my inconvenience and never thanked for my repeat patronage. No warm and fuzzy there at all! Now hearing lots of negative feedback from others who have had similar bad experiences! More

The transaction was very easy, with everything set up ahead of time over email, and then one visit to the dealership. They did CT registration, driving to the DMV in CT, while I waited (for a nominal fee). If I'm in the market for a VW again I won't hesitate to work with them. More
