I took my vehicle in for the complimentary 24,000 service and for recalls. Several things I experienced are concerning. -It was recommended I get a an engine oil supplement service. This is odd, because Hy and for recalls. Several things I experienced are concerning. -It was recommended I get a an engine oil supplement service. This is odd, because Hyundai explicitly advises that you DO NOT use an oil additive. -Upon completion of my service I was informed that an AC Refresher Service was performed, something I did not request or that was ever discussed. When asked what this was, I was told it was simply a new cabin filter and that they had inadvertently put it in my vehicle (instead of the one it was intended for). Hard to believe they would perform a service on a vehicle without discussing it and getting authorization first, so I’m hoping that was truly the case. Even harder to believe that they charge $130 for a cabin filter!! -And finally, I noticed when driving yesterday the vehicle was experience louder than normal road noise. It was especially loud on the highway. I know the tread on tires sometimes need to adjust after a rotation, but I have my tires rotated with every oil change, so it’s hard to believe tread wear would cause this excessive noise. Since I have never experienced this before, I’m hoping the noise isn’t from an improper rotation pattern. More
