Every time I go in this service department I get the royal treatment. I'm under the impression that their sales department is the same way! I met with Jim C. He's a great sales person and has considerable knowledge about the vehicles he's selling. He answered all my questions and I didn't feel like he was pushing the sale. From the moment we walked in the door until 3 hours later when we drove our 2011 Forrester off the lot we had a very nice experience. We had to drive to an appointment 35 miles away. This is the 4th Subaru we have owned over the years and I have to say it handled even better than expected. We have not used the service department yet but if the treatment we have received so far is any indication then I am sure we will be very satisfied. Again thank you to all at Patriot for your professionalism, courtesy and awesome customer service. We will be sending anyone we find looking for a Subaru your way! More
I recently purchased a Jeep Liberty at Patriot Subaru. I had been to many dealers before this one and there was always something about those dealers I didn't feel comfortable with. I had a price range and to find the car I have always wanted that was in my price range and was also clean and just perfect I was just so happy and still am. I bought a Subaru legacy 2.5i. I choose Patriot Subaru after a lot of research. Don't waste your time doing the research, I already have done it for you...three times: One of the first things that crosses your mind when you decide t waste your time doing the research, I already have done it for you...three times: One of the first things that crosses your mind when you decide to make a big purchase like a house or a car is, "now I have to deal with the sales-people." I had the same thought the first time I decided to buy a Subaru. I'm an anal-retentive person. I do my research. Too much research, probably. After concluding that the best car for me was the Outback I did what everyone does. Start looking for dealerships. I did my search based on dealers within an hour and a half. I figured driving that 1.5 hrs would be worth to deal with the right dealer and get the car I wanted for the price I wanted to pay. I narrowed my search down to three dealers, Patriot Subaru included. I made my phone calls and in the case of Patriot Subaru, was put in contact with Vinnie Martorano. I explained my situation to Vinnie and after a short conversation he agreed to work with me and try his best to stick to my price range. I'm a nice guy, I give people the benefit of the doubt, so I made the hour drive up to Saco, ME. Walking into Patriot Subaru, you would have thought I had arrived at some kind of family reunion. (The only difference being the lack of barbeque, of course). The friendly staff immediately greeted me and directed me to my salesman, Vinnie. This guy pretty much reminds me of a college friend I had and still miss to this day. Very nice, down to earth, loves his family, loves his job...just generally pleasant to be around. Yeah, I had to spend money to buy my car, so it's not all roses, but spending a lot of money never is...so we sit down and start going over the numbers. I had brought a quote with me from a dealer I found down in South Carolina stating that I could get the car for the amount that we talked about over the phone (below invoice). Obviously Subarus are worth more in New England, but money is money, right? I told him that I could get a flight down there right now for $220. If he could sell me the car for my quoted price, plus the 220, he had a deal. It was that easy for me. I wanted a couple extra things to go with the car that they didnt have. Those were taken care of as well at a discounted price. The kicker here is that the model I wanted wasn't available yet and I wasn't about to settle for a different car. They sent a guy up to Burlington, VT to pick up the car and drive it back to Saco, for free. I left Patriot Subaru two days later with the car I wanted at the price that I could afford. Vinnie understood my situation and helped me make that happen. He is a no-nonsense good person. If he cannot get you what you want, he will tell you. If he can figure out a way to make it happen, I can honestly tell you, he will make it happen. Salesmen like Vinnie are the reason I bought my first Subaru, he's the reason I have bought my first three subarus and he's the reason I drive an hour to service my car at a dealer that I trust. I have the option to drive 20 minutes to another one. It's THAT worth it to me. It's 2011 and I know I'm a man with options and I do NOT waste my time with people that I don't trust. More
ok - i have now bought 4 vehicles from these folks and honestly not sure i would go anywhere else at this point. From the greeting at the door to the handshake at the end, all people in there were extrem honestly not sure i would go anywhere else at this point. Even the service tech that came out to talk to one of the salesman asked how my day was! that does not happen everywhere. Vinnie was great to work with. He is always positive, energenic and NOT AT ALL pushy. When you first meet him he goes beyond that car salesman attitude and becomes very easy to talk to. He has that people person ability to make you feel very comfortable. this place makes the car buying experience painless and quick. If you show up knowing that you are there to buy a car and not to just kick some tires, they will get you in and out in a flash. Its a buisness there to conduct buisness and maybe make a few friends along the way. They have my vote on both 150%!! this place rocks. you go in there and it is so comfortable its not even like being in a dealership. i have been in many many dealerships and this place BY FAR is the best one i have every been in. The service dept is good, but honestly they could use a little bit of Vinnie out there as well. They are great people and very welcoming to everyone!! I bring my son to funtown a few times a year and always make it a point to stop in across the street and say hello to my new friends and as usuall looking around trying to make a deal! Honestly - if you are looking to make a purchase on a new or used car; do yourself a favor and make an appt to meet with Vinnie. If nothing else you have made one more friend that will always be on the other end of the phone when you have a question on a car. It cant hurt just giving them a shot, besides they are on the strip where if you dont like what they have to offer, go down the street. (not sure you will get past them thought- they make it SOOOOOOOO EASY!) More
