Carlos was amazing preparing our financing paperwork. He knew what he was doing and could do it with his eyes closed. We were very impressed with both these men. Then I had the extremely pleasant experience of my first service visit for an oil change and tire rotation. The oil percentage hit 15%, so I called that morning to see if I could possibly be fit in for the service that day. I believe I spoke with Tony, and he was very friendly and helpful. He set up my appointment, set up a driver to shuttle me to work, called me when the work was done, and sent someone back for me after work to pick up the car. There were a number of people in the waiting area, but I was taken very quickly. The car is great, and I am very happy with it. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with my Honda experience so far! We first visited Paul Miller Honda because, even though it wasn't the closest Honda dealer, it was conveniently located across the road from a Toyota dealership, which was a convenient way to compare a few it wasn't the closest Honda dealer, it was conveniently located across the road from a Toyota dealership, which was a convenient way to compare a few different vehicles we were looking at. I'm glad we ended up stopping into Paul Miller Honda, because we ultimately ended up buying a Honda and this dealership was a pleasure to do business with. Our salesperson was Lou Gentile, a very nice gentleman who took the time to discuss the cars with us, took us for a test drive, and then gave us a fair quote on the vehicles we were considering. One great thing about Paul Miller Honda is that they really made an effort to have one of every model Honda available to look at INSIDE the dealership office, which is a HUGE benefit when you're car-shopping in the cold weather with your wife and kids! Having the car available to sit inside of, move the seats around, etc. all while inside the dealership was really great. We spent the next few months looking at other non-Honda options, and when we finally decided to go with the Honda, we called up Lou and he helped us locate the exact vehicle we wanted (and they had it in stock already, which was great). Lou helped us arrange for the transaction, and stayed late at the dealership on a Friday night so that I could stop in after work to finalize the purchase, which was quick and easy. They didn't try to "up-sell" me on anything extra, other than a few accessory recommendations that Lou made (which were a good idea, e.g. all season floor mats). I have been to other dealers where the purchase involves a hard-sales pitch for an additional warranty -- none of that at Paul Miller. Also, when I picked up the car, Lou spent a good bit of time with me going over the vehicle features, including sitting down in the car itself and going over everything. It was obvious to me that Lou really knows the Honda vehicles very well -- we bought a Honda Fit, the smallest, least expensive Honda model, but Lou knew everything there was to know about the features and explained it all. In other words, just because it was the smallest/cheapest Honda model on the market, didn't mean that the staff at Paul Miller spent any less time learning about it, which was great. After the purchase, the staff at Paul Miller contacted us via phone, letter, and email inquiring about our satisfaction and making sure that everything was OK with the vehicle. I didn't have any problems, but I really did get the impression that if there was a problem in the early days of owning the car, the guys at Paul Miller wanted to make sure it would be taken care of so that we would be satisfied with the experience. That is reassuring. So, all in all, it was a very pleasant, no-pressure car buying experience at Paul Miller Honda, and I would definitely recommend them to anyone considering purchasing a Honda. More
