I have mixed feelings about my purchase experience. Taylor (the salesperson) was very friendly and down to Earth. She made sure that I got connected to the Ford app and told me about the points given when purchasing a new Ford. The vehicle I purchased had to come from Paul Thigpen's other dealership. However, she did not share with me or show me all the features the Bronco has. I guess I will learn using the manual in the vehicle. After filling out the credit application, the other managers took over the buying process. They let me use a loaner vehicle until my new truck was ready. As an incentive, I was also given a 75-inch TV which I put my name on because it would not fit in the loaner vehicle. When the new Bronco got there, Taylor called me and showed me a picture. I went up there in my truck so I could pick up my T.V. and to get a personal view of my new Bronco. The picture I saw online was different than the Bronco that arrived. It did not come with side rails or the tires I wanted. I was wondering if the one I saw online should have been the one they gave me. They tried to brush it of saying it was a stock photo. I thought something wasn't right. Shouldn't the quoted price of the vehicle be the one I saw on their website? So, Mr. Roberson (the finance manager) said that he would order the tires and I would have to pay extra for the tires. He took me to a tire shop to get a quote on the set of new tires I wanted to add to my vehicle. The service shop matched the price which was great! However, the service department found them at a cheaper price and did not tell me. Not until I saw the receipt did, I see that the price they got them for $200.00 less. Why wouldn't the dealership want me to have the best price? Why would they take my money and do what they wanted? The receipt was also adjusted to the price I was quoted instead of giving me the best price as a new customer buying a brand-new vehicle. Also, when they brought my T.V. to my truck it wasn't the one I put my name on. That rubbed me the wrong way. They brushed it off like it didn't matter. I just don't feel that when doing business, a manager should give away your property to make another customer happy. Why wouldn't they go out and buy the new customer a T.V.? I felt that since I was already processed (meaning finance approved) for a vehicle, I was no longer a priority. They did buy me a T.V. the same size but different brand. I fussed a little but then let it go; however I just don't feel that's the way to do business. Another experience I had was with getting my paperwork printed and given to me in a timely manner. I had suspected that after I signed my paperwork, I would get a copy of it immediately. I had to wait until the next day to get it. It was a lot of back and forth driving to Waynesboro which took up a lot of my time. I wasn't asked if I wanted to be financed using Ford Credit or Capital One. My credit is very good, and I wished they would've asked me first because I wanted to get the features of using Ford Credit. I was also made to get the Ford Package that was $7000.00. Since I traded in a vehicle, I was expecting to see a difference in the price go down. However, I was not told by the dealership that the vehicle comes with a 3-year bumper to bumper warranty, and I could have added the Ford package at a later date which would have saved me over $500 dollars in finance charges by including it in the purchase price. The only reason I would go back there is they have used vehicles for cheap. My mother needs a new car, but I know that they will probably treat me the same. Buying a new car should be a great experience and business done by people who you can trust. This is my first Ford vehicle, and I love my new Bronco. Moving forward, I may need to try another ford dealership. I hope the owner could read this to try and improve his business. More

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at this dealership and feel obligated to share it so others can protect themselves. I originally came in to look at a 2023 Ford XLT advertised for $35,800 dealership and feel obligated to share it so others can protect themselves. I originally came in to look at a 2023 Ford XLT advertised for $35,800. Once I stated that I wanted to move forward with the purchase, I was suddenly told the price was $49,000. That unexplained increase is what led staff to redirect me to a 2022 Dodge Ram Big Horn instead. The Dodge was advertised on CarGurus for $32,189, which is the price I was initially offered. After my test drive—once I said I wanted to buy—I was told that price was “no longer available,” and I was also explicitly told that prices are lowered on CarGurus to lure customers in, which makes the advertising feel intentionally misleading. Even then, the numbers on the paperwork do not match what was said verbally. I was told a 100k/5-year warranty would be INCLUDED for free to “make the sale today.” After reviewing the documents, I discovered I was charged for that warranty anyway. To make matters worse, my down payment was ADDED to the price of the truck instead of deducted, bringing the effective total price of the Dodge Big Horn to approximately $46,000—a number that bears no resemblance to what we discussed. Most troubling of all, the truck was represented to me as a V8. I clearly stated that I cannot purchase a V6, as I plan to tow a camper and eventually live in it with my family after retiring from the military. Only after the sale did I discover the truck is actually a V6, something that would have immediately disqualified it from consideration. The deal was rushed at the end of the day, employees were leaving, and it’s clear that critical details were either not communicated or misrepresented. When I questioned discrepancies during signing, the answers I received did not match the finalized paperwork. I am a U.S. Soldier with 14 years of service, and I am proud of that service. I have always believed in honesty, accountability, and treating people the right way. To walk into a local business expecting a straightforward transaction and leave feeling misled and taken advantage of is deeply disappointing. This situation doesn’t just feel like a bad deal—it feels personal, and that really hurts. I am asking for this situation to be corrected immediately or for the sale to be unwound. Buyer beware. Please take the time to verify every number and every promise in writing. I hope sharing my experience helps someone else avoid going through this. More

I do not recommend Paul thigpen ford in waynesboro ga! !! When I got my car in 2018 it was still mizel ford and they were amazing!! But since Paul thigpen took over they do not make sure your cars are serv !! When I got my car in 2018 it was still mizel ford and they were amazing!! But since Paul thigpen took over they do not make sure your cars are serviced correctly! They sent me a coupon and ended up doing other things to my car I didn't ask for and over charged me. So I took my car elsewhere for my oil change after my 5000 miles and the man told me no1 had been topping off my fluids, as their little check lists states they did.... plus they tired to tell me I needed a new battery when I just put one in it 1 month pervious of there oil change... plus handed me a paper of stuff needing to get done "before it messes up" that was a little over 3000 dollars! They're a rip-off and lie!! My dad also bought 5 trucks from micel but said he does not recommend Paul thigpen in waynesboro!!! More
