Check engine light 70 miles I bout a 2011 Ford F-250. I drove from Minnesota to pick this thing up and on my way back I made it 70 miles down the road and the check engine light I bout a 2011 Ford F-250. I drove from Minnesota to pick this thing up and on my way back I made it 70 miles down the road and the check engine light came on. I was told the mechanics went through the truck in and out and said it was good but when I got it checked out at another ford dealer they said it was clearly detected the egr/egecooler was plugged as to why I had a check engine light (4700 dollar repair). Also I asked multiple time about how to check the def fluid level and the sales rep actually referred me to YouTube because he didn't know how to check it. Also was told the 4 aux switches by the console were for the running lights on the cab which he obviously didn't have a clue what he was talking about because the running light come on when your headlights come on. I understand I bought a "used" vehicle but you don't expect the check engine light to come on 70 miles down the road. More
