Disappointed doesn't even begin to cover it. After spending hours with Matt and the Assistant Manager (who acted as if we were great friends, thanked my husband for his current service in the US After spending hours with Matt and the Assistant Manager (who acted as if we were great friends, thanked my husband for his current service in the US Army, and congratulated me on my pregnancy), they failed to advise me of any body damage to the 2019 Ford Expedition I purchased. The front bumper has multiple paint chips, and the front headlight is cracked along the edges. The wireless charger inside the vehicle does not stay connected, losing and regaining connection every few seconds. None of these flaws were ever disclosed to us. In fact, we were told about this great service called ZAKTEK that would keep our paint perfectly clean and not chipped. Speaking off, Matt and the AM advised us that we could visit any Ford and have the ZAKTEK reapplied for the one-time initial cost. We have since been advised that this isn't true. We were also originally told we would be given $8,000 for my trade-in vehicle, but at the last minute, they switched the total given to $7,000. We were also told Matt would fill the tank with gas and, on a lighter note, the AM would buy our lunch. None of this happened. We were made all of these grand promises until my signature was on the dotted line - immediately afterwards, we were nothing. We also requested to see new 2022 Ford Explorers - and we were told we could so we could explore leasing options, but we were never permitted to see those vehicles. We were shown old, crappy Explorers that weren't in any way aligned with what we described as wanting, as if we were being forced to purchase the Expedition. They then advised they didn't have a single 2022 vehicle on the lot, which seems pretty odd since their website reflects they DO have those vehicles. Unless, you know, there's false advertising on their website, which wouldn't surprise me given the reviews I'm reading here. I reached out to Peoria Ford this morning for assistance in these matters and - shocking - no response. I paid over $60,000 for a vehicle that was not in the condition described. I'm furious and will personally ensure everyone I can reach out to knows to stay far away from Peoria Ford. Guess I now know why so many websites have this place rated so poorly. Despicable. More
I was having problems with my new 22 F 250. My sales rep Blake, got me connected to Michael Quinton in the service department. Quinton stuck with my problem until it got resolved. He even put My sales rep Blake, got me connected to Michael Quinton in the service department. Quinton stuck with my problem until it got resolved. He even put up with me, which is a job in itself. But with his determination Ford finally got it fixed. Thanks Quinton and the service department at Peoria Ford. More
Absolutely awful experience! My fiancé and I drove 2 hours after being told the vehicle we were interested in was never there. Kyle wasted our time and gas. I should have read the reviews. So many people claiming bait and switch sales tactics and it happened to me. I sent an email about the ford maverick on their website (listed price) So many people claiming bait and switch sales tactics and it happened to me. I sent an email about the ford maverick on their website (listed price) The guy that reached out (Blake Gidney) was on another appt. I understood as I was running late. He passed me off to a Jonathan Calamaco. I was waiting to do a test drive and was talking about the advertised price when Mr. Calamaco said well its actually 15k more.....What???? you didn't state this in your advetisment. I mentioned we are leaving as this is clearly a bait and switch move which is illegal. He came out to the car and said. I just talked to my manager its actually only 10k over....so you want me to pay for the price of a f-150 or Toyota tacoma for a smaller lesser vehicle. I know there is a shortage and prices tend to be higher. However when an advertised price will not be Honored they are committing bait and switch which is illegal accoring to the FTC Bait and switch is a type of false advertising, which is prohibited under the “truth in advertising” rules in Section 5 of the Federal Trade Commission Act, which was passed in 1914. The law prevents all kinds of false advertising, and bait and switch scams represent just one small part of what’s illegal according to the FTC Act. I will be filing a complaint with the CFPB, the Arizona AG, the BBB and the FTC. Lots of copy paste coming. I was excited to get a new vehicle and this dealership just proved why they have such terrible ratings. GM can get my number from Blake. *** after my complaints and negative survey to Ford Motors the director of sales tried reaching out and told me he would sell me a truck at MSRP to make things right. Originally I was going to refuse but I wanted the truck. So I agreed, I did have to wait a few weeks for them to get a new one in. I was their first call and at this point getting the truck was much easier. Finance guy tried charging 4500 for a warranty that costs them around 1500. After some back and forth, he lowered the price down to 3500.00 and waived some paint protection fee so overall it came to about 3200.00 much more reasonable than 4500. As the company wants to make some money. But over charging is not cool. If you read this remember you can try to negotiate anything. Do some research don't let them get away with over charging. The fact is be reasonable and understand they are a business. They can make some money or no money in some areas. I did not change my review off the one star because the other sales guy that pulled the bait and switch is still employed there. Any company that turns a blind eye to shady BS going on in their company or a franchise doesn't deserve a single star. I do really like my new truck though. More
Recently purchased a truck and the finance team (Michael England) added an additional 4K to my loan while spreading the term out so I would not see an increase in the monthly payment. He also lied when he e England) added an additional 4K to my loan while spreading the term out so I would not see an increase in the monthly payment. He also lied when he explained the loan and term. Watch out for Michael and don’t let him scam you. Last time I ever purchase a vehicle from this place! More
I sent an email to this dealership about a Ford Transit cargo van they had advertised at MSRP. I received a call back the next day stating that van had been sold, they didn't know when anymore might be com cargo van they had advertised at MSRP. I received a call back the next day stating that van had been sold, they didn't know when anymore might be coming in, and any more that they receive will be priced at $20,000 over MSRP. That's a 50% markup on a vehicle. I would also need to leave a deposit to hold my place in line to pay such an exorbitant price. This is bait and switch. These are in high demand and they are bringing over MSRP, but other dealers I have talked to have said 3 to 5k. I emailed about this one because they had it advertised at MSRP. Now they want 20k more? I have no doubt this particular van was sold months ago, and they are still using it to try to draw in idiot buyers willing to pay that much. Or at least two collect a non-refundable deposit which they'll be able to keep. Terrible, terrible business practices. More
What happened in the last year where you call to schedule an appointment but they do not schedule a day and time for you during that call? I have bought cars here and serviced them exclusively at the same d an appointment but they do not schedule a day and time for you during that call? I have bought cars here and serviced them exclusively at the same dealership. I called to get a new key programmed and the person on the phone gives me the 101 questions to expand my profile within their contact database. After 5 minutes of Q&A, they said someone will call me back to schedule. Huh? Really? 24 hours later, no call so I phone them back. Same drill, 101 questions from the same script and then I was notified that someone will call me back to schedule. Four days now since my original call and nothing Noone called me back as promised. What hapenned to my trusted Ford service department? Did they hire an offshore call center that only collects your information and does not have access to a scheduling tool to make an appointment? I missed a 3 day window where my car was not being used when I could have had this work done if they called me back. I am going to drive to the dealership today and talk to one of my regular service advisors to see what's up with this goofy call center and encourage them to look into getting them access to a scheduling tool for a one and done scheduling experience that is NOT open ended. Cost of labor is up, mechanic pay and benefits remain flat and shop supply fees are boosted to an all time ridiculous level. There must be some profit in there somewhere to invest in a better business model to schedule service appointments for their customers... More
Put a request online to find out about teh availability of a 2018 chrysler Pacifica hybrid. In my request i asked to be texted infromation about the van and a couple specific questions. I instead got a p of a 2018 chrysler Pacifica hybrid. In my request i asked to be texted infromation about the van and a couple specific questions. I instead got a phone call asking me to come in and check out the van when Brandon replyed. I asked him to text me photos of teh van and let me know the condition overall as my wife who had a baby 4 days ago and I live 73 miles away. He sent me some pics of two vans I asked for more specific pictures of the van I inquired on he sent those back and then again asked me when i coudl come in. What upset me and sparked this review is after 2 hours without a out teh door total and costs of a warranty i called in and spoke with Doug. Doug was very nice said he woudl find out and call me back within 20 minutes. When doug called me back he told me that van was sold and in the holding lot awating a check which is why i did not get any inside pics of the car it was sold. It clearly did not matter to brandon that we lived 73 miles away or that we have a new born less than 5 days old that woudl be comeing with us he wanted us to drive out there so he could try to switch us to a different car. He didnt care about the customer he cared about the sale dam shame i woudl have bought the van we are already approved and were interested in a warranty and might have considered something else at Peoria Ford if he woudl have been honest and up front but the shady slimy slaes tactics are exactly why i left this review in hopes that someone else at least has a expectation of slimly sales tactics when visiting peoria ford. RUN!! Run far and run fast. This is not an honest place to conduct any type of business. They do not display window stickers on new inventory, they slide in market adjustments and play it off as if it is to conduct any type of business. They do not display window stickers on new inventory, they slide in market adjustments and play it off as if it is MSRP, they sneak in service contracts under the guise of it being part of the warranty, they tell you whatever they have to tell you to make you happy and then do not hold up their end of the deal. Shea was our salesperson and Nick was our Manager. RUN while you can from this dishonest and deceitful operation. More
BL: Go to any other Ford for a better experience, it can't get worse. Bought a truck here and get it serviced here regularly. The service department is absolutely terrible. They told me they were ord can't get worse. Bought a truck here and get it serviced here regularly. The service department is absolutely terrible. They told me they were ordering parts to replace under warranty and would call me when they come in. It's been months, and I have called at least 4 times and gottent the run around every time. Adam, who was supposed to be ordering the parts and calling me, is never in when I call, and never calls me back. A couple of other people who's names I didn't get or cannot remember (Kody, was one I spoke to twice for sure), have taken my calls and said they'd look into it and call me back...no one ever calls back. The last time I even brought it up, when the guy said he'd call me back I told him I'd heard that before and he promised it wouldn't happen again. That was 2 weeks ago... ⏳ Update: finally went in and spoke to a manager (Justin) who said he'd have the tech call me. Still no call, still no resolution. Again, that was over a week ago. More
